At lunch on a sunny  and warm Friday on February 24, I went to Tsukiji Honganji's "Lunchtime Concert -2000 Winds".
Tsukiji Honganji is officially referred to as "Jodo Shinshu Honganji school Honganji Tsukiji Betsuin".
At present, the temple at Tsukiji 3-chome was originally located in Yokoyamacho near Asakusa, but after burning in Edo's kimono fire (1657), it was not allowed to rebuild it to the old land, and it was lowered as a replacement site ( ) It was built by reclaiming the sea () of Hatchobori, mainly by believers (1679).
main hall (1934), which was rebuilt after being burned down by the Great Kanto Earthquake, has an ancient Indian style with stone appearance, but this temple has an unusual "pipe organ" in Buddhist temples.
On the last Friday of every month, a "lunchtime concert" is held by this pipe organ.
Admission is free and anyone can participate freely. The time is about 30 minutes from 12:20 to 50 minutes.
Today's performer was Tomoko Oyama.
There were three songs, including Bach and Mendels Zone, and many people listened.
At lunchtime before the weekend, the pipe organ I heard at the temple's main hall was glamorous and light, majestic and heavy, very comfortable and soothing.
The next concert will be held on March 30 (Fri), and the nearest station is a 1-minute walk from Tsukiji Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line .

On January 29 (Sun), I visited the site of the training of Shintomiza Children's Kabuki, one week before the actual performance.
The training place on this day is the work room of Chuo Ward Women's Center Bouquet 21. It is said that they are usually practiced at Kyobashi Plaza. Prior to the lesson, a rally called “Ei-O-no-kai” was held by children, teachers, OBs, volunteers, and parents while having lunch.
