Summer fruit shining in red

[Koedo Itabashi] June 29, 2014 09:00

A red gem that is well-shaped in the case of a "product shop" that deals with high-grade products.

It's bright. It's just like a girl's lips.

When included in the mouth, a slight acidity accentuates the wide sweetness.

You can eat as many as you like, cherries.

The cherry blossom peach season expresses a high standard in appearance, texture, and taste.

On Saturday, June 21, an event was held to make cherries very familiar.

The venue is a large parking lot at Tsukiji Honganji Temple.

It's a cherries seed skipping tournament.

The competition will be attended by the first 500 people on the day.

At around 11:20, 500 participants participated in the event, thanks to the crowd.

Last night's rain also rises before sunrise, and the competition starts with a slightly gauge wind blowing.

Stand three people on the starting platform and blow away the seeds at the red carpet, which shows the distance at intervals of one meter.

I feel sorry to fly the nucleus of that gemstone in the air.

It's hard to fly a few meters only for unfamiliar competitions.

Occasionally, when more than 10 meters come out, a shout "Oh!"

The prepared "cherries" are "Sato Nishiki" in Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, which boasts the highest production volume in Japan.

A delicate cherries that are hard to last for a long time.

In 1922, Eisuke Sato's passion for breeding has paid off, and Sato Nishiki is born.

Higashine City is the birthplace of Sato Nishiki.

And Higashine City has a deep connection with Chuo-ku.

In 1991, we entered into a friendly city tie-up.

In the lobby on the first floor of the Chuo-ku government office, alliances and commemorative items of friendship cities are displayed.

The highest record is 17m83cm.

This is a record of flying cherry seeds in Higashine City.

If you head to the starting point and look from this side about 20 meters, you can feel that distance is very far away.

A girl waiting in line was blowing away, saying, "I have to practice."

There was momentum, but the flight distance was 3 meters. "I have to use more springs."

Please do your best in production.

In Yamagata Prefecture, the fruit tree kingdom, you can enjoy plenty of fruit picking such as grapes, peaches, apples and La France, starting with cherries.

This summer, it is also an area for the destination campaign, and there are many fun events.

It is also a time of bliss to pull out one of your favorite grains directly from the tree branches and put them in your mouth.

"I'm going to go Tohoku." The station name of the Yamagata Shinkansen was also "Cherry Higashine".

A deposited apartment

[whatever] June 25, 2014 09:00

This building is located along the Shin-ohashi-dori St.. It may be noticed by many people. When I look for the entrance, it says "Shokin Apartment". It seems to be read as "Shokin Apartment". Every time I passed, I was looking at it while saying "It's old", honestly "I'm bored." There's nothing wrong with me. It's rather friendly. I would like to support the old building, still do my best.

According to the investigation, it seems that it was built in 1931, and it was recruited until a few years ago. That said, it didn't seem to be inhabited by people, but there were restaurants on the first floor, and there was a sense of life. Certainly until around April of this year ...

In June, I had twice had the opportunity to pass in front of the building, but it seems that the situation was different from before ... maybe most of the stores on the first floor have been closed.
Of course, I think it has been renovated several times, but has that also reached its limit? Is it destined to be demolished?

The first two photos were taken in April of this year. The third photo was taken in June.
Before April, I feel like there was a store where products were lined up on the sidewalk side ...

There's a small veranda on the 2nd or 3rd floor.
The elevator doesn't seem to be installed.

shokin8.jpg
On the 4th to 5th floors, the floor plan is different, or the window seems to be a little smaller.

How long have you been using it?
The signboard of the shop still remains. Maybe you're still in business here...

Chuo-ku Soba Journey ~ "Tsukiji Soba Zanmai"

[Shitamachi Tom] June 24, 2014 09:00

I love soba very much, and when traveling around Tokyo, I always visit famous shops in famous soba production areas.

Choseian. jpgAmong them, Chuo-ku has many delicious soba shops and unique shops. This time, I would like to introduce some of my local shops.

Located in a corner of Tsukiji Outer Market, Chosei-an is a shop that has a reputation not only for market participants but also for local residents and tourists. It is a store that is useful not only for soba but also for sake bars with close friends. "Seiro" is good, but I love "Curry Nanban". It is also used for meetings with friends of soba.

Tsukiji Yabu. jpg[Tsukiji Kyoei Building] Tsukiji Yabusoba is located underground. The orthodox based on the flow of Ueno Yabu. It is a friendly shop where occasional "Soba and Sake Enjoying Party" is held. Certainly, the appetizers of sake are enriched one by one, creating a space like Tsukiji.

"Futsune Sarashina" is an elegant shop facing Heisei-dori. There is also a calm atmosphere inside the store, and you may encounter scenes where a woman who likes soba noodles alone, such as late afternoon on weekdays. The hot soba is also very impressive because the soup is firmly entangled with the noodles.

Kyoan 2.jpg"Rehabilitation-an" It's a line of Tsukiji Honganji and is located in a place that stands out from the main street. The bright and cheerful voice of the master who is also a local face is always echoing in the store. The deep preparation that never insists too much is nostalgic and safe.

Sashina no Sato. JPG"Sarashina no Sato", located near Shintomi-cho, is a famous shop where soba lovers go. The enthusiasm for soba cultivated from generation to generation has been firmly passed down to the present day. Sometimes rakugo events are held. It is a menu that you can enjoy duck pots in winter and seasonal change soba noodles.

3.jpg in a smooth storeThe other day, when I was eating with a friend of soba at Sarashina no Sato, I was next to a couple who was traveling from U.K. When I came to Tsukiji and chose soba instead of sushi, I thought it was quite a Japanese street. We had a chat about soba and sake for a while.

International exchange at a soba restaurant is also a very impressive memory. In the era of international tourism, I hope that soba will be more appreciated by foreigners.

Even if it's small, it's a run [screwbana]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] June 22, 2014 14:00

In a park in Chuo Ward, we discovered a pretty blooming screwbana, also known as Mojizuri (also known as Mojizuri).

Nejibana is a small perennial plant belonging to the family Orchidaceae. The flower color is usually pink, and the origin of the name is that the flower blooms in a spiral shape. It is also called "Screw Libana", "Screw Libana", and "Screw Grass".

nej1.JPGIt is rare in the orchid family, and it can be seen normally in places close to human living areas such as lawns, banks, and city park (), and in fact, it grew naturally in the park and bloomed casually.

The flowering season is from June to July, and it seems that you can still enjoy it for a while. Everyone, please find this pretty flower

90th Anniversary of Tsukiji Small Theater - June 13, 1924

1. June 17, 2014 09:00

Have you seen the "New Play" recently? I haven't seen it for ten years now. Even though young people say "new drama", it has become commonplace to get them to know only when they say "the name of the theater company" and the affiliation of the actor on TV. . Tsukiji Small Theater, which has become the "source of all post-war new dramas" such as "Literature Theater", "Actor Theater", and "Meigaku", which are still active, opened on June 13, 90 years ago.

Now, a lecture entitled "Thinking about Modern Theater from the 90th anniversary of the founding of Tsukiji Small Theater" is being held at Chuo Kumin College. The coincidence that the second day is just the opening date of 90 years ago. As you all know, Kaoru Osanai, who was already well-known, opened with the aim of becoming a `` permanent hall for theater laboratory theater drama, a playhouse for the people '' as being involved in the heat of young Yoshi Hijikata . The first performance is three works: "Swan Song" (Chehof), "Sea Battle" (galing), and "Crest Day" (Mazoo). You can see the names of Akiko Tamura and Korenari Senda in the program. Directed by Kaoru Osanai and Yoshi Hijikata. It became a base for new theater activities as an experimental site for modern theater, but three months after Kaoru Osanai died suddenly in December 1928, the Tsukiji Small Theater splits. The activities of the Tsukiji Small Theater ended in just five years, and after that, the buildings of the theater were burned down at the end of the war in 1945. However, it goes without saying that the Tsukiji Small Theater had produced many human resources who were active in the theater world, became the roots of the existing theater company, and "all sources of post-war new drama" was located at this Tsukiji Small Theater. Professor Kodama of Waseda also mentioned, but the characteristic of Japanese theater is that "genre accumulates-layering". When a new theater is born, the previous theater does not disappear, but each one continues to live-a rare phenomenon in the world. This is why we can now enjoy theaters of various genres. Is this why we can't "dispose"? After a long absence, I came to see the "Monument of Tsukiji Small Theater Ruins" and thought about something stupid. Why don't you think about the theater people who founded a passionate passion for the 90th anniversary and dedicated it to theater activities?

Shinji Yamagami "Fun illustration exhibition of animals, etc."

[Apricot peony] June 11, 2014 14:00

It is not uncommon for paintings to be displayed in the hospital, but there are two galleries in St. Luke International Hospital, proposed by Dr. Hinohara.

I went to Shinji Yamagami's "Fun Illustration Exhibition of Animals, etc." held at the first gallery.

Mr. Yamagami says that he also has a rakugo party under the name of the Koza, "Sancho Tepanza", with valet Sancho Pansa appearing in Don Quijote.

It is a fun illustration exhibition according to the title, where you can get a glimpse of such an atmosphere everywhere.

ck1203_20140611 (4). jpg ck1203_20140611 (2). jpg

The illustrations of the deformed humorous animals are accompanied by a wit-rich sentence, and they are unintentionally stuck or bitterly laughing.

When I noticed, there was a person who was in front of the work.

ck1203_20140611 (3). jpg ck1203_20140611 (7). jpg ck1203_20140611 (6). jpg

The picture frame of the work on display is wooden, handmade by Mr. Yamagami himself, whose slightly rugged and rugged feeling creates a unique warmth.

You said, "I'm told only about the picture frame," but it's probably because Mr. Yamagami's warm and wit-rich unique work and the atmosphere are perfect.

ck1203_20140611 (8). jpg ck1203_20140611 (9). jpg

ck1203_20140611 (1). jpgIn addition, T-shirts and postcards were sold, so I bought a set of postcards called "I'm just a cat."

I also liked the postcard sentence and illustration of "I'm fine" in this, so I'd like to send it to my friend immediately.
