Kabukiza Tour

[Many Books] Nov. 30, 2015 09:00

November 28 Participated in "Learn the world of Kabuki from the backside of Kabukiza and Kibikicho Plaza and from the props" jointly planned by the Chuo-ku Tourism Association and Pokekaru Club. At 9:50, we gathered at Kabuki Inari Daimyojin. A total of 20 people. The group was divided into two groups, and the first group was guided by Mogi of Kabukiza Service Co., Ltd., and the second group was guided by Nishimura. . In the morning, we descended underground from the front of Kabukiza and looked around the shop of "Kibikicho Square".

From the left to the front of the Kabukiza Theater with decorations on the first day of December 2. Kumatori's "face pack". "Good luck hammer" of "Hinemosu". I bought it as a souvenir.

"Iroha Kintsuba"'s demonstration, a snack at 3:00 was served with Atatsu Kintsuba. It was very sweet and delicious. This is also purchased as a souvenir. In the name of "Iroha", he talked about Professor Toshio Kawatake's naming because the seat order of Kabukiza was "Iroha", and talked about Kintsuba.

The photo above is where you are wearing a single tooth clog. It's hard to balance. I was able to try it.

The upper part is a large lantern located in Kiboricho Square. Height 2.2mx diameter 1.9m. Go up to the 5th floor to see the Kabukiza Gallery. Explore the back side of Kabukiza at VIDEO guided by Somegoro. It was good to see the backside which was hard to see.

Lunch at "Hanago" (chartered) on the third floor. Mr. Tokaibayashi, the head chef, explained the contents of the lunch box. It is said that the lunch box from the Edo period was restored. However, the amount of rice was half that of that time, and the seasoning seemed to be deeper in the Edo period. At the top of the middle is a kamaboko that imitates a formal curtain, which is colored with "black sesame, kuchinashi, spinach". It was delicious.

IMG_2090.JPG

After the lunch box, challenge "Subling fan" and "Kendama".
It seems simple and this is quite difficult.
It is possible to hit it, but the score is low alone, and it seems that a high score can be obtained by the relationship between the target on the box and the fan falling.
Everyone was enjoying it.
"Kendama" was also challenging.

IMG_2093.JPGAfter the game, there was talk about stage equipment and props by Adachi of Kabukiza Stage Co., Ltd. (right).
It seems that the company will start in 1655.
Kanbee Hasegawa, an example, appears in the history of Kabuki during the Edo period, is the first one.

On the left is Mogi of Kabukiza Service Co., Ltd., and he himself seems to have a connection to Kabukiza for generations.

Kabuki is still supported by tradition.

With such a tour content, 5 hours passed quickly. Will the viewpoint of seeing Kabuki be a little different from now on?

In addition, "Kiboricho Plaza" is said to be evacuation site for those who cannot return home in the event of a disaster. I forgot the exact number, but it seems that a considerable number of people can be accommodated.

The Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association "Gathering of International Exchange 2015" was held at Tsukiji Social Education Center on November 21, 2015.

This event is held once a year to promote cultural exchange between Japanese and foreigners in Chuo-ku and deepen mutual understanding.

I also participate every year, and this is the seventh time this year.

You will receive the reception on the first floor of the venue and proceed to the venue you are looking for. Whatever you say, the first place to eat is the place to eat.

"Tsukiji Shrimpkin" [Shrimp soba specialty store]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] Nov. 26, 2015 09:00

Tsukiji Ebikin, a shrimp soba specialty store located in Tsukiji 6-chome, diagonally in front of Namishi Inari Shrine.

It was introduced on TV, and before, in this blog, other correspondents introduced me.

ebiki11.JPG

It's a bit far from my company, but for shrimp lovers, it's a shrimp soba that makes you want to eat it on a regular basis.

ebiki12.JPG

It was lunch time, so I waited out of the store for a while.

ebiki13.JPG

Even though it is light, the flavor and flavor of shrimp are condensed in it.

It seems that the soup has boiled sweet shrimp heads for a long time with 50 shrimps per cup.

If you eat it, you will be convinced of the naming of "Ebi soba" instead of "Ebi ramen".

Business hours

Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 17:00.

Saturday from 6 to 15 p.m.

Sunday and public holidays are regular holidays

"2015 Gathering of International Exchange in Chuo-ku"

[Marsha Horiuchi of Edo] Nov. 25, 2015 14:00

The event was held at Tsukiji Social Education Center on Saturday afternoon, November 21.

I have participated in the "Gathering of International Exchange".

It was full of people who were interested in Chuo-ku and people from various countries.
Kendama, quoits, Karuta, flower tags, lucky laughter, Soroku, Hajiki, Hagoita, spinning top, ink painting (pictured is my work), furoshiki wrapping,
(Cizumi, Oden, Sri Lankan tea break corner), I enjoyed the shamisen experience corner while getting used to it.

In addition, Japanese culture is easily introduced, such as tea ceremony, kimono try-on, dance, ikebana, etc.
I think it was a fun time for foreigners. Maybe you want to learn Japanese casually.
It was a day when I felt that I needed more and more to deal with inbound.

The last year of Tsukiji Market

[Shitamachi Tom] Nov. 25, 2015 09:00

Are you enjoying the colors of the late autumn season? A full-fledged winter will come soon. The town of Tokyo is finally starting to decorate the tail of the year.

P1130127_R.jpgChuo-ku is also a commercial town, so the end of the year begins here and there. Listening to the BGM of Jingle Bell and the sound of the bell of Fukubiki, I think the year is finally over.

Tsukiji was a place where foreign settlements were placed after the Meiji Restoration, and according to one theory, Tsukiji was the first Christmas party in Japan.

I guess you have been active in incorporating new things for a long time. Even now, this town seems to be full of free and advanced spirits that are not bound by old evil.

By the way, Tsukiji Market will be relocated in November next year. We started to carve out the countdown of the remaining one year. The out-of-office market remains, but this year was the last time we spent the New Year with the Central Wholesale Market. In December, the number of shoppers increases day by day, and people who regret more remnants than usual may be pushed.

P1130128_R.jpg

I sometimes serve as a tourist guide for Tsukiji with the help of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association, but from now on, it may be a little sentimental every time I talk about relocation.

Fortunately, the construction of a pre-maintenance facility in Chuo-ku is also progressing, and you will soon be able to see the new Tsukiji. I am sure that the future of the new generation Tsukiji Market is also attractive.

Please remember the bustle of the Tsukiji Market neighborhood, which has reached the end of the last year, in your memory.

Gathering of International Exchange of Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association 2015 Part2 flamenco was also enjoyed

[Silver] Nov. 24, 2015 20:00

In Part 1, I reported on delicious chizumi, oden, fragrant Sri Lankan milk tea and other entertainment.

At the venue, there was also a disaster prevention corner, a disaster prevention video was broadcast, and we also experienced emergency food tasting.

DSC08965 (350x197). jpg

I received an emergency food and an emergency set present. What would you like to prepare for it?

DSC08966 (350x197). jpg

Volunteers from the Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association explained their activities.

I hope that many foreign people will become friends and understand each other's culture and lifestyle.

DSC08968 (350x197). jpg

By the way, the foreign dance of this day was flamenco, so I rushed from the outside.

The performers were Tomoko Ishii Flamenco Studios. The boy is also cool and decides on poses.

DSC08895 (350x197). jpg

During the wonderful dance performance, I also had Spanish lessons, and international students from Mexico seemed very happy to answer them.

After having a simple instruction of flamenco and turning around with dance, Ohre! I felt that my back stretched and my posture improved.

Tomoko Ishii also joined, and it is a splendid and exciting flamenco dance.

DSC08964 (350x197). jpg

I received a leaflet for enrollment guidance. I'm thinking of entering the "Introductory Class".

If you want to experience flamenco or want to get started, we recommend Tomoko Ishii studio in Ginza 1-chome near you.

For more information, please click here. http://tomokoishii.com/html/004.html

It is a gathering of international exchange that I look forward to every year. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the staff.

It was very fun this year too. In Spanish, Muchas gracias!
