Tsukiji Honganji Summer Evening "Goen Festa" There is also July 7th.

[Silver] July 7, 2016 09:00

July 7 is Tanabata, but it seems that it was held in the lunar calendar in the past, so couldn't the weaver (Vega) and Toushi (Altar) meet until August? Well, the common theory is that you can only meet once a year. We humans on earth may have little romance because we can easily meet them. If you don't, write your wish on a strip, hang it on bamboo leaves, and pray that your request will come true. Yeah,

While thinking a little about such things, I went to Tsukiji Honganji summer evening "Goen Festa".

There was a towed cow. Go up the stone steps to main hall and go to the left.

This is the world's animal design collected by Dr. Chuta Ito, who was involved in the construction of Tsukiji Honganji Temple. There are 14 objects, including fictional animals, and this printed matter can be found in main hall.

By the way, today, a lot of ladies and cute children who were not weaving women participated in the "Goen Festa", enjoyed Bon Odori, and enjoyed the delicious things of Tsukiji.

And Bon Odori was performed along with the sound of a fun drum.

A chat while tasting the delicious things of Tsukiji. It was a good time to go over the word. International exchange progressed with tourists from Canada sitting on the same table, asking questions about the purpose of visiting Japan, the length of stay, and the schedule of Bon Odori to be held soon. It was time to say goodbye, and we were asked for a commemorative photo, and we also included in the photo.

The fun "Goen Festa" is also available on July 7th.

Summer Namishi Inari Shrine

[Minori] July 6, 2016 12:00

Hello, this is Minori.

This time, I went to Tsukiji Outer Market and Namishi Inari Shrine.

The annual festival, which takes place in June every year, is over, but there were many people who visited the Chinowa.

Namishi Inari Shrine is located near the seafood bridge in Tsukiji Outer Market.

It is worshiped as a god who wishes for the prosperity of fish-related business and the safety of navigation.

The annual festival is held once every three years, and the Reisai Festival takes place over a four-day weekend around June 10.

The largest ceiling lion in Japan comes out.

During the Manji period (1658-1661), reclaiming the Tsukiji area was extremely difficult due to the waves.

It is said that Namiyo Inari Shrine was founded because of the fact that the waves had subsided and the construction was carried out when the statue of Inari Myojin obtained from the sea was enshrined.

The water bowls and lion heads (a pair of males and females) of our shrine are both registered in the ward Tangible Cultural Property.

●Water bowl

The warehouse of the Owari Tokugawa family was located in Tsukiji, and rice grains and special products of Owari were regularly carried in.

The Tensui bowl was dedicated in 1838 (1838) by husbands engaged in the unloading work of cargo praying for the safety of the Owari clan ship.

●Lion head

It is made of wooden gold painted, and in March 1848 (1848), Jiro Shima Yato of Tsukiji Minamihongo-cho (east of Namiwa Inari Shrine) was the founder. The lion hair and the eyeball were originally accessories of the lion at 1-chome Minami-Odawaramachi (the current location of the company), but in 1927 (1927), they were dedicated to the shrine with the lion head.

Minato 2-chome (5th) archeological site tour

[Sam] July 5, 2016 16:00

DSC02178PLS.jpg

DSC02176SQRLS.jpgOn both July 1st and 2nd, at the excavation site of Minato 2-chome 10 and 11, "Minato 2-chome (5th) archeological site tour-Samurai and townspeople run in the gunpowder ~ "was implemented.

(10:00~16:00)

First, the curator of the Local Tenmonkan introduced the archeological site and explained the status of the survey.

"The archeological site was reclaimed after Ieyasu Tokugawa entered Edo in 1590, and was called gunshot. It is said that the name comes from the fact that the shape of the landfill resembled a gun, and that there was a shooting range for the Shogunate gun immediately after the landfill.

The north side of the surveyed land is considered to be a townspeople area, and the south side is a samurai area.

In the Samurai residence area, such as the Hachisuka family of the Tokushima Domain, waterworks, wells, stone-framed sewage, garbage holes, and some ponds in gardens were excavated. In the Machiya area, remain has been excavated, including stone-framed sewage, wood-framed sewage, building and storehouses.

Above all, the stone wall, which shaped the gunshot, is a very valuable discovery because it may be an archeological site where the development of land in the early Edo period could be understood.

In the Meiji era, it became a "miscellaneous area" of Tsukiji foreign settlements, where tableware from West and beef bones that show carnivores were excavated. "

That's why.

There are also exhibits of stone walls and excavated relics.

Excavated relics. Tableware from the left, Hachisuka family crest tiles, clay bottles, teapots, toys

☆"Super long-cherished wish" Tsukiji market! !<2nd session>

[Conquering Show Lew ☆] July 1, 2016 12:00

While having a good meal at Nakatoro-don breakfast at "Nakaya", the inside of the hall is not like this, but the stomach is filled and the restaurant in the hall market walk while having a ambition for lunch is not like this.

Then I found two egg-yaki shops facing each other.

Sushitama Aoki (left) and Daisada (middle)

Is it rare to worry about which one to choose because my stomach was filled? Choose Aoki's Edomaki

It's similar to Datemaki and very delicious!

I'm going to buy Osada's fried egg.

It's juicy and very delicious!

There are many egg-yaki shops outside the venue, but be sure to go to Dai Aoki Sada before moving! ! !

In addition, my stomach was filled and I took a walk to Hamarikyu to have the best lunch (continue to the 3rd session).
