The spirit of founding, the Commercial Code Training Institute

[Kaishu] July 31, 2009 09:00

In the planting of the sidewalk in front of Ginza Matsuzakaya, there is a monument to the Commercial Code Training Center.
This place is the origin of Hitotsubashi University, which was established in 1949.
ck0930-07311.jpg

The Commercial Code Training Institute is Yukichi Fukuzawa of Keio University and the creator of Japanese capitalism.
With the support of Eiichi Shibusawa and others, Arinori Mori (first Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, 1847-
It was founded as a private school in 1875 by 1889.
Nine years later, under the direct control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce, the name was changed to Tokyo Commercial School.
After that, the jurisdiction changed to the Ministry of Education and several renamings (higher commercial school, Tokyo)
Higher Commercial School, Tokyo University of Commerce, Tokyo Sangyo University during the war, and after the war, again
After returning to Tokyo University of Commerce, it will be organized into the current Hitotsubashi University.

Meanwhile, in 1909, there was a crisis of being integrated into Tokyo Imperial University.
However, it is avoided with the support of school officials and many others.
The founding spirit of "cultivation of industry leaders" is the purpose of training bureaucrats.
I did not allow the annexation to Imperial University. (Monkey Rooster Case)

The antigovernment stance unique to Hitotsubashi University is not only private universities but also other national universities.
It emits a beam of light by distinguishing it from each other.

This monument was not the birthplace of Hitotsubashi University, but the commercial law workshop.
You can feel the face and pride of this university, which maintains a free and vigorous school style since its founding period.

Enjoy authentic Indian court cuisine in Ginza! Large mahar

[Mapo ★] July 26, 2009 23:10

It is a full-fledged restaurant with the catchphrase that you can enjoy authentic Indian court cuisine.

It seems that there are some in Tokyo, but there are two in Ginza. There is a main store in 8th Street.
Marronnier Gate store is having a buffet lunch for 1000 yen in commemoration of the opening.

But I don't like beans and don't like summer vegetables.
Three kinds of curry can only be eaten with chicken keema curry (laughs).

RIMG0544.JPG RIMG0539.JPG

The roasted egg of Indian vegetables was delicious.
One kind of curry is sad, so roast eggs in a curry bowl (^^;

Curry is also delicious, but Nan is quite delicious.
I will compete for the 1.2th place among Nan I've eaten so far.

RIMG0538.JPG RIMG0537.JPG

Nan's delicious curry yasan doesn't feel like eating rice.
There were also Koshihikari white rice and saffron rice.

It's a salad, a chickpea, or a tandori chicken.
There were a lot of things, but I ate it little by little.
A mint called Fennel, which was next to the cash register on the way home?
It seems to help digest the stomach, but it was bitter and strange (>_<)

RIMG0540.JPG RIMG0542.JPG

After about two weeks, I went to the Ginza Main Store.
The Ginza main store has a buffet lunch of 2000 yen only on Saturdays and Sundays.

I could only eat one kind of curry, but I didn't have a 2,000 yen buffet (^^;
I wonder if it was a normal lunch of 1000 yen. It also comes with dessert.
However, the buffet at this main store was accompanied by a drink.

The Marronnier Gate store was cut to make it easier to eat.
The Ginza main store comes out with Nan as large. 、

RIMG0659.JPG RIMG0660.JPG

Nan is still delicious.
Actually, it was curry yesterday, so I didn't want to eat that much curry.
It's like Nan came to eat (^^;

RIMG0661.JPG RIMG0662.JPG

Overall, the Marronnier Gate on weekdays is richer and more cost-effective.
If you want to eat curry in Ginza, by all means (*^^ *)

Landing on the moon

[Many Books Osa] July 21, 2009 09:30

When I was walking in Ginza on Saturday, the 18th, I saw an exhibit like a photo in front of a building.

Yes, it was a space suit. "This year has been 40 years since humanity landed on the moon," he said. The American "Apollo 11" was launched from Cape Kennedy at 13:32 GMT on July 20, 1969, and the moon landing ship "Eagle" landed on the moon at 20:17 GMT (Japan time 21:00 am). Captain Arm String and Orr Dorin (a nostalgic name! !!) That's right.

The metabolism is also improved with ginger syrup in Ginza!

[Mapo ★] July 16, 2009 18:00

"Ginza's Ginger" was drawn by this word.
Ginger syrup sold in Ginza Matsuya is fluttered (laughs)
Ginger syrup of confiture eprovance.

It was a mango when I drunk a small paper cup that I received "Please ...".

I don't like mango very much, but it's mellow and delicious.
And the ginger is really good.
"There are many people who put ginger in tea these days, but the hassle of doing ginger ..."
It was like that, so when I talked about drinking ginger tea every day for another year and a half.
I tried various things one after another to see if I thought I liked ginger quite a lot (^^;

★Barsamico vinegar ... I'm drinking apple vinegar now, so it may be good instead.
★Strawberry ... it was broken by carbonic acid. It's easy to drink, but strawberries are not good.
★Plain: It feels like a cold candy. It's delicious and you can put it in black tea.

When it gets hot, the hot ginger black tea before the bath is also hard.
The cold mango ginger juice may also be good.

By the way, after tasting 4 cups, I happened to go to try slimming esthetics.
The amount of sweating was reduced by 500g (laughs).

I bought a mango that day. I tried various things, but it's delicious to break with milk.

RIMG0202.JPG RIMG0362.JPG

And at a later date, I went to the main store in Ginza to buy souvenirs for homecoming.
On this day, souvenirs and for myself, dry ginger and seasonal peach ginger.

RIMG0398.JPG

Dry Ginger was perfect with black tea!
The ginger is quite tight and denty. If you drink before taking a bath, you will sweat unusually.★
When I used this, the frozen ginger was not enough.

Peach is not so tight with ginger, and this is also delicious if you break it with milk!
And I found it better with milk tea than mango.

By the way, confiture is a French jam.
There are also duckworths and macaroons across the confiture.
Now I'm stuck in Duckworth, so I bought two kinds!

RIMG0394.JPG RIMG0375.JPG

The dough is crisp, but it is not hard, and it has a strong meringue flavor!
The flavor of eggs is good, and the jam matches perfectly.
I thought that fig jam would fit surprisingly well with coffee.
After all, the classic chocolate and orange is the best!

RIMG0370.JPG RIMG0371.JPG

When I talked about the correspondent blog, I was happy to have permission to shoot inside the store.
Up to 2 kinds of Duckworths you haven't bought! Thank you (*^^*)
Next time, let's go to the cafe!

A tour of Japanese miscellaneous goods shops in Ginza①

[Mapo ★] July 10, 2009 16:00

Here are some of the Japanese miscellaneous goods shops in Ginza.

1.Hatoido

It is a shop of incense and Japanese accessories that has been around since the Edo period.
There is also a main store in Kyoto.

I like small items on the Kyoto Yuzen dyeing Chiyogami here.
I especially like this kobo box and mirror.

HI380003(1)_1.jpg 2008121322319YSF4S.jpg

It's also good as a souvenir.

After that, there are various types of cards and goods for each season.
There were a lot of cute fan fans that are perfect for the coming season.
Christmas, Hinamatsuri is looking forward to its product lineup.

2.Ginza Kaju

He said he had the best skills as a incense master
It is a shop with the scent of the secrets of Touemon Takai.
I am surprised that it has been in business for 430 years.

The store in Ginza Core is the main store.
I like the branch on this gas lamp street with a more atmosphere.

I bought a smell bag and a scent grain to put inside.
There were about 8 kinds, but this was the best scent.
The name was "Miyabi", so it was decided immediately after the name (* ^^ *)
The small one on the right is Ayaka to put in the letter.

RIMG0298.jpg RIMG0364.jpg

Kodo classes are also held, and there are also hands-on classes.

3.Kunoya

It is the first long-established store in Ginza as a thread wholesaler for over 170 years.

I bought a gauze kitchen towel.
It's a good idea to hang it on the kitchen handle.
It's gauze so it's kind to your hands.

200919211724ni5th.jpg 20091921171094Pe3.jpg

A cool evening gift with a gauze handkerchief and a towel made of zet.
The style patterns such as bellflowers, morning glory and fireflies are typical of summer.
