Roots of Geisha, Kinharu Street, Miban Street, Shimbashi Geisha

[Silver] May 23, 2011 08:30

In this category, history, culture and area are written in Ginza.

There is Kinharu Street at Ginza 8-chome in Shimbashi (named for the meaning of being newly bridged).

There was a Noh actor Kimharu Tayu, who taught Noh to his disciples.

I was only reading the explanation board so far, but I rented this site and practiced performing arts.

There is an explanation that what I went to was the roots of Kinharu Geisha and the current Shimbashi Geisha.

Hey, I thought Shimbashi Geisha was the sisters around Shimbashi Station and Kasumori.

You were a geisha in Ginza.

Let's walk along Kinharu Street for a moment.

Go to 7th Street and turn left to see the street.

A newly made plate on the street.

Well, where is the actual lookout? There is a poster about "East Odori" around here.

Shiseido The Ginza is open! How to enjoy the three floors♪

[Mapo ★] May 19, 2011 09:00

Shiseido The Ginza (SHISEIDO THE GINZA) is a comprehensive beauty facility for Shiseido.
It opened on May 14th. You were also on TV!
The location is the building next to Shiseido Parlour across Hanatsubaki Street.

RIMG6801.JPG RIMG6806.JPG

When I looked into various things online, I found that the dressing table was on the second floor.
There was a paid powder room where you could try new cosmetics.
There are 10 cute rooms with different atmospheres.
It seems that you can rent a hair dryer etc. with free drinks.
It's 840 yen for 30 minutes.
I made a reservation right away and went there on the 16th.

There is also a washbasin booth, but I don't have time, so I just need to fix my makeup today.
By the way, it's 105 yen to rent a towel.

RIMG6811.JPG RIMG6810.JPG

Choose your room first.
Choose such a cute room based on white!
There is also a key door on the right side of the table to hold valuables.

RIMG6817.JPG RIMG6805.JPG

First of all, there are rules, and up to 5 items that can be brought into the room at once.
But if you use it back, you can borrow any number of items as many times as you want.

Select the first 5 items while asking various questions to the staff.
First, take the oil on the face with oil control paper.
Then wipe your eyes with a cleansing sheet.

RIMG6809.JPG RIMG6812.JPG

Then with mineral foundation of integrate.
It's a very natural finish.
And the eyes are also integrate Rain Bogue Rade Eyes
The eyeliner is a cream pencil from Majolica Mallorca.
This is soft and easy to draw!

From there, I went to get the next item again.
5 minutes left at this point! That's why it was extended (+420 yen)

Maquialage Feace Creator (Horon)
Gramaras Rouge of Integrate and
True shining gloss.
The glalamorous rouge was a cute color.
Mascara is Macara’s full vision mascara
The shape of the tip of the hair is different and it is easy to apply.

When I was in my twenties, my friend worked in Shiseido, so I used it often.
It's been a long time since I've been using makeup products.
All Shiseido's products are good~ (* ^^*)
The color is clear and the eyeliner and mascara are easy to use.

But if you ask the staff a lot and choose, 30 minutes is not enough.
Well, I can stay for hours (laughs).
It's fun if you go with your friends!

It's very relaxing in terms of space.
It may take an hour and a half if you really want to make a makeup.
This is because I usually take only 15 minutes for makeup, so people who take time may need about 3 hours (^^;

Also, on the second floor, there are places where you can have a skin diagnosis or have a professional person make makeup.
On the 3rd floor, there is also an esthetics and counseling room at Cre de Po Beaute.

And the first floor is Beauty marche. Shiseido's cosmetics are available.
Among them, the most surprising thing was this Mirai Kagami!
When you put the barcode of cosmetics, information about cosmetics appears on the panel below.
If you press the color button, you can simulate using the cosmetics.
It's amazing! I tried the teak, but my cheeks turned pink or orange.
I feel like the times have come so far (laughs).

RIMG6818.JPG RIMG6819.JPG

And this room at Majolica Mallorca. (Upper right)
All the drawers here are open and cosmetics are inside!

I couldn't take a picture because the room in Makage was full of guests.
The testers are lined up on the table and are all-you-can-use.

There are all colorful and fun products just by looking at it.
The pleasure of going to Ginza has increased by one!

The staff were all very kind and friendly.

Kaoru Yumi Exhibition - From Ninja to Hari Painter - at Yoshii Gallery

[Silver] May 19, 2011 08:45

Kaoru Yumi's exhibition will be held at Ginza 8-chome 2-8 until 17:00 on May 21, 2011 (Saturday) at 17:00.

It is being held at Yoshii Gallery.

As a landmark, it is located on the west side of Sotobori Street, on the second floor of the building where the Kyoto Shimbun-sha resides.

CIMG8550.jpg

I think it was started with the Nishino Valley Team. Kaoru Yumi, who has been performing with familiar Mito Komon "Kagerou Gin" and "Galkaze no O ..." from Kaai Ikaoru-chan.

I went to the gallery on May 18, 2011.

About 20 very nice works were on display.

Some of them seemed to imply her future, such as "Shouju is ..."

It is a very wonderful group of works, and in the center of the gallery, "Jin Akiyama's Geometry Cal Art"-the beauty of geometrics-

The exhibition was on display, and women in science were enjoying themselves.

It's not until the last day, but please come by all means!

Tea salon at Ginza Cozy Corner ★1-chome Main Store

[Mapo ★] May 12, 2011 09:00

The cozy corner of Ginza 1-chome main store, which was reopened on April 28.
There is no cozy corner in Osaka, so it's affordable and good as a souvenir.
I used this store often, but I have always used this store.
It's my first time to go to the tea salon on the second floor.

The store on the first floor has changed quite a bit, and the wall behind the showcase is also Paris-like.
It was very fashionable.

RIMG6715 (2). Thumbnail image of JPG RIMG6718 (2). JPG

The second floor is also nice. The walls are decorated with baked madleine and financiers.
I recommend strawberry millefeuille. It's 1300 yen with a drink.

The volume was amazing, so I ordered a premium shortcake set.
This is 980 yen with a drink.
It's a great deal because it comes with fruits and ice cream.
The cozy corner is named Ginza, but it is not Ginza price (* ^^ *)

RIMG6721 (2). JPG RIMG6722 (2). JPG

The chocolate noir set ordered by the master is also 980 yen with a drink.
Moose is also an adult chocolate cake with a modest sweetness.

RIMG6720 (2). JPG RIMG6729.JPG

It seems that there is also a tart finished by patissier at the demonstration corner on the 1st floor.

This day was April 30, in the middle of a three-day holiday.
There were a lot of people in Ginza, and the shop was also a lot of customers.
The staff responded very well and I was able to spend a very relaxing time.

On the way home, I bought a cheesecake "Hichikuchi no Happiness" limited to the main store on the first floor.
I put a cold pack and brought it back to Osaka because it fits the wine.
We could taste it on the spot, and it was a rich and very delicious cheesecake.

RIMG6732.JPG RIMG6735.JPG

There are a lot of other limited sweets, and it's hard to see!

The petit cream puff that I saw for the first time seemed to be delicious, but I gave up because it was today.
I bought an ice cake and went home, but this is also delicious (* ^^*)
I like chocolate and cookies from the dog and cat series at the cozy corner.
It doesn't seem to be available at this store now.

8 views of Ginza Street, the last Sunday of Golden Week after the earthquake

[Dandy Pine] May 12, 2011 08:30

This year's Golden Week, which is not awakened by the influence of Great East Japan Earthquake, does not seem to be the bustling streets of Tokyo.

On the last day of Golden Week, May 8th (Sunday), I enjoyed "Silver Bra" alone to see how Ginza Chuo-dori was like.

On a regular Sunday, in front of the famous brand shop facing Chuo-dori, tourists from Asia lined up before opening, and it is a quiet air like a lie that various languages were flying around Was flowing.

DSC02579.JPGI started walking along Chuo-dori from the Shimbashi side, but the time was before H&M around 10:30 am. Even that popular H&M doesn't have any customers before opening at 11:00. A woman standing on the wall of a stylish H&M building looks down on the sparse sidewalk.

DSC02578.JPGI knew for the first time, a digital clock with a simple design made of metallic materials is placed on the sidewalk in front of H&M. Isn't such a stylish watch only here on Ginza Chuo-dori?

We will walk along the sidewalk on the H&M side, which is blocked by the building and cannot reach the sunlight, to the intersection of 4-chome. Still, people walking on the sidewalk are really sparse, and you can see the sight just looking at Ginza, one of Japan's leading shopping zones.

The Mitsukoshi front entrance at the intersection of 4-chome, which is always crowded with people waiting, has a quiet atmosphere, and it is surprising that the number of cars running on Chuo-dori and Harumi-dori St. is extremely small even if it is Sunday .

After passing the 4-chome intersection, it is the area where the most famous overseas brands are concentrated in Chuo-dori. It is a world-famous brand street that is comparable to Champs-Elysees in Paris and Sashizume Regent Street or Oxford Street in London. The big difference is that most of the famous brand shops in Kanochi have shops in old-fashioned stone-built buildings.

Over the past few years, including Ginza Chuo-dori, a brand-new modern building of famous overseas brand shops has been built in the area of Harumi-dori St., from one after another, and it is just like an exposition of contemporary architecture. Each brand incorporates its own identity and image into its architectural design, and demonstrates its presence in the same way as each brand logo.

Even so, the area around Ginza 2-chome to 3-chome is a brand shop heaven, and it has become a favorite of many foreigners as well as Japanese. I'm not very interested in the brand, but I suddenly stopped and looked at the design of the store architecture that expresses the presence of the overseas brand shop that decorates Ginza Chuo-dori, and the eccentricness of the store facade.

DSC02580.JPGApple Shop is a computer brand that feels the world's typical architectural design. The symbol mark "Apple (apple)" is drawn on the metallic front facade. Perhaps because "i-Pad2" was just sold, the inside of the store was crowded with many apple enthusiasts. As a personal matter, I purchased "i-Pod 160GB" at the Apple shop, which I wanted to contribute a little to the consumption after the earthquake.

DSC02584.JPGOn the other side of the apple shop, the chalk department store "Matsuya" with front glass lays as if overwhelming the viewer, and on the first floor, the world brand "Louis Vuitton" stands dignifiedly.

DSC02581.JPG DSC02583.JPGImmediately after passing the apple shop, there is a brand "Channel" that everyone admires, a cartier across the alley, a cartier on the other side of the cartier across Chuo-dori, and a brand shop that everyone knows, such as Bulgaria and jewel Tiffany.

DSC02582.JPGHowever, even after the opening hours of each brand store, there are sparse customers inside the store, and the drastic decrease in the number of Chinese tourists who swept Japan until before the earthquake seems to have caused great damage to these brand shops.

DSC02585.JPGPlease take a look. It is a state of Ginza Chuo-dori after 11:00 am on May 8th (Sun). I'm so lonely.
The spirit of Ginza is the spirit of Japan. It is cheerful Japanese and foreign customers who color the gorgeous Ginza. I sincerely hope that the old bustle will come back soon.
