Tsurutaro Kataoka Exhibition [Matsuya Ginza]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] August 28, 2014 09:00

From August 27 (Wednesday), "Tsurutaro Kataoka Exhibition 60th Anniversary of Painting" has been held at Matsuya Ginza 8th floor Event Square, and I went there on the first evening.

katao1.JPGMr. Tsurutaro Kataoka was started as a vocal modifier, became a popular actor in variety programs, and since then has been active as an actor who can play a wide range of characters, but he is also active as a painter. Earlier, I saw Tsurutaro, a lecturer of Aya Sumi painting on NHK's educational television.

In this solo exhibition, about 150 works, including unpublished works and new works, showing the trajectory of 20 years of creative activities, are exhibited. In addition to the exhibition of works, interviews with Mr. Tsurutaro's production site and painting work are also aired. The story of camellia flowers is very impressive.

The theme of this time, "60th birthday red," seems to have Tsurutaro's strong desire to make life more bloom from the 60th birthday. It seems that the goldfish was drawn as the motif of the 60th birthday red, and the latest work "Goldfish <two-piece folding screen>" is also on display.

katao2.JPGIt's a postcard I bought in commemoration. These original drawings are also on display.

The period is until September 8 (Monday). Opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The last day is closed at 5 o'clock and admission is until 30 minutes before closing.

Let's meet fish at the 47th Sony Aquarium in 2014 Ginza Sony Building

[Silver] August 21, 2014 09:00

This year, at the Ginza Sony Building Deing, fish from the Churaumi Sea of Okinawa are swimming vigorously in a large outdoor tank.

I'm looking forward to it every year's tradition of Ginza. It's the 47th time this year. Thank you, Mr. Sony!

The exhibition period is from July 25 to August 31, and the time is from 11:00 to 19:00.

20140819 061.JPG

When you enter the building, you will see a large humpback whale full-size tail fin on the first floor.

Let's take a look at the real thing. And let's compare your back.

20140819 063.JPG

The leaflet I received is printed with a photo and name of "Creatures in the Outdoor Large Water Tanks".

25 kinds of fish are introduced in photos and names, so it's fun.

Is this yellow fish body having a big black spot?

I think the red fish on the right end is Hanagoi. Check the names of the other 23 kinds of fish in the leaflet.

Then, I hope you have a good time during the summer vacation.

Seto Udon Ginza 1-chome store

[kimitaku] August 19, 2014 14:00

On the west side of Ginza 1-chome, along Showa-dori, walk toward Nihonbashi.

A little before approaching the Kyobashi area, there was a shop facing the street.

Early in the morning, the light was shining brightly and my stomach was empty, so I entered the shop.

When I notice, it's a udon restaurant in Sanuki.

There was a clerk at the entrance, and here I ordered udon.

If you go through the counter, you will find tempura.

Take each of your favorite ingredients with chopsticks and calculate at the end.

I ordered a breakfast curry set. The price is 300 yen.

DSC_0115tennai-1.jpgDSC_0114kareseto-1.jpgIf you look around, there are 60 chairs.

The large store is vacant and comfortable.

Atsuatsu udon and mini curry bowl are used as trays.

I'll carry it to the table.

Sit by the window and relax with the view of the street.

Shortly afterwards, several customers came by car on foot.

The customers of Sanuki Udon-dori are a bit smart, different from me.

"Atsu," "Hie," and so on. It's comfortable to your ears when you eat it.

While watching it, I thought I had to study Sanuki udon from now on.

The calm shop was waiting for many customers in the future.

There are a lot of toppings.

Lunch at the Armani Wine Lounge

[Mapo ★] August 16, 2014 09:00

Almani Lisorante is located on the 10th floor of Armani Ginza Tower on Harumi-dori St.

From the restaurant, go upstairs one further upstairs and you will find a wine lounge.

It seems that it used to be a membership system before, but now anyone can make a reservation.

The table is a little smaller than the ristante on the lower floor, and the menu cannot be selected.

We can have lunch very reasonable.★

It's also exceptional because it's 2950 yen for 4 items (tax and salvation).

There's a 10% service charge on the 10th floor, which includes tax.

However, the drawback is that you have to change the menu.

The appetizer was a tomato, so it was a big tomato.

I had them change to salad using ricotta cheese. (+1100 yen)

So if you don't like or dislike, you can enjoy lunch for 2950 yen.★

The upper left is the tomato zuppa that a friend ate, and the upper right is the salad that I changed.

Paste of Nocchi Basilico

Smoked organic beef fillet meat/parmijano Luccolla

RIMG1692.JPG RIMG1693.JPG

vanilla's semi-fred pineapple sauce cafe and small sweets

With this, 2950 yen is really reasonable★

And every time I think, the shop here has wonderful staff service!

It's the highest repeat rate in Ginza.

Wine, champagne, cocktails, beer, etc. for 4,500 yen for 90 minutes

There is also a happy hour with 40 kinds of all-you-can-drink.

A little further away from the center of Ginza, yeah.

There is a small rice cracker shop diagonally in front of Ginza Brosam.

Ginza Stoke Building 1F, 22-10 Ginza 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
The name is Tagosaku Senbei.

                               Tagosaku front

This shop has a head office in Chiba. There are two branches in Chiba Prefecture.
We are particular about rice, soy sauce and Bincho charcoal.

Here are some of the contents explained by each store.

・Most rice can be used as a raw material for rice crackers.
After all, you can't make delicious rice crackers unless it's delicious rice.

・Soy sauce can be said to be a representative of Japan's seasonings that have been developed with miso since ancient times.

In Chiba Prefecture, there are dozens of small and medium-sized soy sauce manufacturers in addition to famous manufacturers such as Kikkoman in Noda, Yamasa in Choshi, and Higeta.

・In our shop, charcoal is used as the fuel for baking rice crackers. Nowadays, the number of rice crackers baked with charcoal is gradually decreasing. Electric heat, gas, etc. are convenient and the fuel cost is low, so there is no choice but to give the original taste of salt rice crackers made of good rice, it is still charcoal fire.
Charcoal varies depending on the material and how it is baked, and each feature is utilized depending on the application. When used for food processing, it is soft charcoal for baking small fish. Charcoal like light flames for tofu and fried oil. Stick charcoal for eel, yakitori, and yakiniku. The finest hard charcoal Bincho charcoal, which has no harmful gas or smell, has long thermal power and burns from inside, seems to be the most suitable for rice crackers.
Wakayama, a production prefecture in Bincho charcoal. While charcoal disappeared due to gas and electric heat, only Bicho continued to produce in response to special demand. Bincho charcoal was in short supply during the oil shock in 1973. The oil shock has subsided and charcoal has finally come out, but the price has stabilized at a high price. Among them, processed charcoal made by powdering wood of the same quality as Bicho and charcoal from the Philippines and China are served as an auxiliary role of Bincho charcoal.

It's a thin and fragrant rice cracker.
In Osaka, this is called Okaki.
In Osaka, sweets are called rice crackers.

Ginza Mikimoto Lounge ★Chef Yokota's Desale

[Mapo ★] August 13, 2014 14:00

Following the rebuilding of the Mikimoto Main Store on Chuo-dori, Japan

It was on the third floor of the Mikimoto Boutique near the plantan

The Mikimoto Lounge will be closed at the end of August.

Here, you can eat Chef Yokota's desserts, but they are all beautiful like jewels.

In 2009, I happened to pass in front of him and was attracted to the photo of a desale called Pearl.

And the other day, there was an event where you could get the sale of Chef Yokota, so I participated.

This is the pearl I had before.

Pannacotta with tapioca, Shiroki jellyfish and aloe.

This is what I ate at this event.

Sorbe of Oishi Plum. With muscat wine jelly

The lower right is Happiness Plate blueberry crumble tart, mint and cheese mousse.

With yuzu Pannacotta orange sauce

All of them are summer-like menus, and they look and taste are great.★

After the store closes, a new store will be opened in the local Kasukabe.

It seems that the price is Kasukabe price (*^^ *)

At the Mikimoto main store, I was looking forward to Christmas trees and seasonal objects.

It's lonely when it's closed.

(*Mikimoto head office is scheduled to be completed and grand opening in the spring of 2017.)
