Walk around Chuo-ku, Senshafuda stamp rally until March 31

[Silver] March 10, 2018 09:00

From March 1st, "Senshafuda stamp rally walking around Chuo-ku" has begun. The period is until March 31st (Sat).

To participate, first obtain the stamp rally mount, G Info in the Ginza area, the General Information Center Plat Tsukiji area, Nihonbashi Tourist Information Center in the Nihonbashi area, Ningyocho area in front of the Ningyocho Shopping Street Cooperative Office (Great Kannon Terashita), Tsukishima Monja Promotion Association, Chuobashi area in the Tsukishima area.

The location of the stamp seal is the same as the location of the above-mentioned mount. And, if you answer the questionnaire with the participation prize `` Sensha Bill Seal written by Edo Character Craftsman '' that you can always get, the place where you can receive prizes in the area that you may be able to get by lottery is the Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center in the Kyobashi area, The first start should be started from a place other than Kyobashi.

As it was getting warmer, on March 3rd, G Info took a walk from the Tsukiji Outer Market General Information Center Plat Tsukiji and the Tsukishima Monja Promotion Association Cooperative in the Tsukishima area. I thought it was a bit far to walk to Ningyocho and Nihonbashi, so I came up with a good thing.

And we used "Edo Bus", the foot of Chuo Ward residents. I got a transfer ticket to the North Loop and went from Tsukishima to Nihonbashi for 100 yen. (Because it was Saturday, the stamp place in Ningyocho was closed.)

The Edo bus driver was very kind to issue a transfer ticket and also told me where to transfer.

The Nihonbashi Tourist Information Center sells not only stamps but also long-established products in Nihonbashi, so we decided on the items and purchased "Arihei Sugar vanilla Milk Candy" from Eitarou Sohonpo.

I think this will also be popular in the return of White Day. (I'm self-consumption)

At the Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center on the first basement floor of Kyobashi Edgran, I showed a mount and received a participation prize, "Sensha Bill Sticker written by Edo Character Craftsman," which I could always get.

I answered the questionnaire and tried the lottery, but I still don't seem to have a lottery.

I enjoyed a little late lunch at a shop in the basement of Kyobashi Edgran, and rewarded myself.

Well, why don't you take a walk and join the Senshafuda stamp rally? It's really fun.

※ The participation prize "Sensha Bill Sticker written by Edo Character Craftsman" is a wonderful Edo character drawn by Tsutaya Shoten in Tsukiji. Tsutaya Shoten participates in the "Chuo-ku Machikado Museum".

On April 4, 1875, at the time of cherry blossom viewing at the lower house of the Mito Domain (currently Mukaijima Sumida Park), we ate Anpan as a tea voucher.
I hear you like it very much.

I made the arrangements.
This is Tesshu Yamaoka, a master of swords and calligraphy.

The name of the restaurant in the photo on the left was written.

Unfortunately, the original was burned down during the Great Kanto Earthquake.

Why don't you take a look at it often during the silver bra? It's a wonderful and wonderful character.

In spring, Hamarikyu is full of vitality now.

[Silver] March 8, 2018 16:00

Hamarikyu is at its peak in spring.

Today, we remembered the Edo period from the landing of the water bus to the place where the general rose, and strolled around Umebayashi, where it is now at its peak.

There was a variety called "as you wish" with red and white flowers blooming on one plum tree. In addition, we watched a variety of green plums from the forehead of the white flower called "Ryokugaku" to the stems and branches.

In the field of canola flower, the wife of a Western couple dressed up, strolled between canola flower and saw a smiling sight of her husband taking pictures.

At Hanakien, Sanshuyu, where the yellow flowers shine, and the vivid red flowers of Ryukyu Kanhizakura, signaled the coming of spring.

I could see a newly built teahouse on the opposite side of the Tsubame teahouse.

This is the restoration work of "Hawk's Ochiya" from the Edo period.

Looking at the legendary bridge, Shinsenza Kamoba, and the pine for 300 years, along with the surrounding customers, this pine has gained a lot of energy, and the vitality for tomorrow has become full. Everyone, please go out and bathe in warm sunlight to get vitality.

Did you scratch the scratch tiles with the cat's nails?

[Shubo's Ten Hands] March 6, 2018 18:00

DSCN1022.JPG DSCN1021.JPG

It refers to a tile with scratch scratches.

It has nothing to do with a cat's nail.

It became popular after the main building of the Imperial Hotel was completed. The downside of tiles is that several percent of the manufacturing process are burned out and cannot be commercialized.

However, the tiles in the photo (scratch tiles) are rather wonderful because the unevenness is out. For economic reasons, I think it was widely used after the Great Kanto Earthquake.

You can see it in the Suzuki Building next to the Chuo-ku government office and the Daiichi Sugawara Building in front of Ginza Toyo Iwaine cargo. If you look at it carefully, you will find it interesting.

Shiseido Gallery Moving Plants Photo Exhibition is being held until March 25

[Silver] March 6, 2018 16:00

Shiseido Gallery is located in the basement of Shiseido Parlour on Ginza Street.

Currently, Moving Plants Koichi Watanabe exhibition is being held until March 25.

DSC08312 (400x300). jpg

In the instructions we received, Koichi Watanabe met the plants of the Japanese knotweed genus, and that he went on a journey to follow the footprints of Japanese knotweed's journey, the countries he visited were U.K., the Netherlands, the United States and Denmark.

DSC08315 (400x300). jpg

Siebold was commissioned by the Dutch government to serve as a doctor with Dutch trading post in Dejima, Nagasaki, Japan, and Siebold was the first person to transport large quantities of living Japanese plants to Western Europe. By all means, please go out and get a manual.

I was very interested in this photo exhibition because I read Orient Bunko 87, Siebold book published by Heibonsha, translated by Saito, and "Kiyuki Edo Sanfu".

The fact that Siebold Tsukiii, who came to Edo and stayed at Nagasakiya in Nihonbashi, taught Dutch studies and Western medicine, presented with a crest of the shogun of Habu Genishi, brought out the Siebold incident of Inozu, Japanese primrose (scientific name: Primula siebold Tsukiii), etc., did not register their names in Western countries.
