Not Sport Shoes, not sneakers

[HK] July 27, 2018 12:00

I heard that the Sports Agency encourages sneaker commuting, but I certainly saw many people wearing sneakers in the commuter train.

As expected, I haven't seen any businessman wearing suits or sneakers yet, but I often see women wearing sneakers in a stylish look.

So, what I would like to introduce is "NIKE", which has nothing to do with sneakers at all. Probably not Nike, but Nike.

Recently, Japanese Government is encouraging business persons to wear sneakers and as a fact, you can bump into many of working persons wearing sneakers on trains.
As a matter of fact, you cannot easily encounter business suits workers with sneakers but there are many business women dressed neatly and enjoying their fancy sneakers.

What this blog is about has nothing to do with sport shoes, but what would like to write about is titled "NIKE" which probably has different pronounciating with the sport wear company.

The author is Fumio Asakura's young lady, who is famous for works such as Kyoko Asakura and Shigenobu Okuma.

I had been visiting the Asakura Sculpture Museum in Taninaka several times, so I was personally happy to see my daughter's work nearby. There is also a work called "Summer" on the front side, so if you are interested, please take a walk and appreciate it. (after it cools down)

The sculpture is Kyoko Asakura, a daughter of Japanese great artist Fumio Asakura who is famous for "Shigenobu Okura" (statue) and others.

Visiting Asakura Sculpture Museum in Yanaka was just wonderful but seeing his daughter's masterpiece around the neighborhood was just delightful. On the other side of the building, there is also Kyoto Asakura's statue titled "Summer". If you are an art lover, maybe it is nice to include this spot in your walking course. (When the weather gets cooler)

[Russian Year in Japan] Russian culture to enjoy in Chuo-ku

[Hanes] July 21, 2018 18:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
It was in the second half of July, and it was time for summer vacation at both company and school.
Some of you may be traveling far away.Airplane
This time, "Do you need an airplane? Continuing from the Greek and Italian excursions
Here are some recommended spots where you can enjoy Russia in Chuo-ku.

◼️ Russian-Soviet Union Film Festival
From July 10, the opening of the National Film Archive was held as a Russian year 2018 in Japan.
The "Russian Soviet Union Film Festival" is being held as follows.

Period July 10, 2018 (Tuesday)-August 5 (Sunday) ※Closed Monday
Venue: National Film Archive Nagase Memorial Hall OZU (2nd floor)
Website: 2018 Russian-Soviet Union Film Festival in Japan commemorating the opening of the National Film Archives

DSC_2522.JPG

This film festival reflects socialism, war, emperors, and other social situations and ideas at the time of film production.
A lot of real works have been shown.
Some photos were taken at evacuation sites during the war, and completed after temporary suspension of photography.
Due to the pressure of the powers, it is difficult to disclose the information....He said
It is an interesting lineup not only for the content of the movie but also for the production background.

I am a novel by the Nobel Prize-winning author Mikhail Shorohov, which was screened on the 14th.
I've been watching movies based on "Human's fate (Original title: Звукava).
The protagonist, who was forced to suffer both physically and mentally due to the outbreak of World War II....
Despite the darkness of Russian literature in the 20th century, it is possible to do so.
It is a work with a strong message that is familiar to the present day, such as "I live strongly in any adversity in thinking of my family."
Also, it was the first director's work of Bondarchuk, who played the main character, and so on.
For those who like movies, I think you can enjoy it from another angle.

◼️ Russian cuisine
There are several restaurants in Chuo-ku where you can eat Russian cuisine.
One of the most important things is the Russian restaurant logoski.

Location: Ginza 5-7-10 EXITMELSA (Igjit Melsa) 7F
Business hours Please check the official website.

It seems that this is Japan's first Russian restaurant founded in 1951.

Not to mention Russian classics, piroshiki, borscich, and tsuboyaki.
Perimeni (water dumplings), recommended for those who are not familiar with Russian cuisine.
Nishin (Milfeuille-style salad) and Brinui (Russian pancake) wearing fur coats are also available!

Piroshiki can take out, and there is also a nice service for those who are in a hurry.
This time, I tried to take out piroshiki, a vegetable that reminds me of Russian home cooking with sour cream.

There is also a mushroom sauteed with vegetables.
When I was warmed and eaten, the flavor of sour cream was enhanced and it was delicious.

◼️ Image of Messenger
When it comes to Russian movies and cooking, I came to mind as a Russian-born person related to Chuo-ku.
Ossip Zackin, a sculptor who created the "Messenger Statue" at Chuo-ohashi Bridge!
(* I am from Russia during the Russian Empire era, so my hometown belongs to Belarusi.)

IMG_9735.JPG

This statue was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition in 1937 and is considered one of his masterpieces.
It was also presented by Paris to commemorate the friendship between the Sumida River in Tokyo and the Seine in Paris.
Because he was based in Paris, the image of France may be strong.

So far, we have introduced three spots related to Russia.
This summer, when exchanges with Russia are booming as the “Russian Year in Japan” are booming.
Why don't you experience Russian culture with your five senses in Chuo-ku?

From Takahashi to Minami Takahashi, there is a highly hydrophilic green road that makes use of the waterside of the Kamejima River.

The season of Jabujabu Pond begins!

[Edamame] July 13, 2018 09:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

I feel like I wrote such an article last year at this time ...

/archive/2017/07/post-4470.html

This year, from July 6 (Fri), "Jabjabu Pond" in various parts of Chuo-ku has started!

It may be persistent, but I will explain it again.

"Jabjabu Pond" is a place to play in the water for preschoolers.

For more information, please visit the ward's website.

http://www.city.chuo.lg.jp/sisetugaido/koento/zyabuzyabuike.html

Children who do not have diapers (including their 3-year-olds and daughter Azuki)

Other than "Hot Plaza Harumi", you can put it by wearing "diaper for playing in the water".

There is no usage fee, and it is a very important place as a playground on hot summer days.

Unfortunately, I didn't go on Friday, the first day, because it was unfortunate weather.

On Monday of the beginning of the week, I took my azuki!

Swimsuit (what I wore last year) and diapers for playing in the water (the rest of last year)

Towels and toys (be sure to write your name)

Put your usual diapers, hats and water bottles on your way home in your bag.

Daughter Azuki is a dress that can be worn smoothly to make it easy to change clothes.

Mother Edamame is a skirt up to the knee length.

(Parents can't become swimwear by rules, but they need to go into the water together.

The water depth is about the knee, so do you roll it up so that it doesn't get wet?

In the first place, you will wear something that doesn't get wet.

DSC_3372-2.jpg

I'm here! It's Jabujabu Pond at Hisamatsu Children's Park!

There are few people, probably because it was a strange weather called "Sunny hour rain".

Still it's hot...

Mothers' frank impression was "It feels good just to get your feet on the water!"

Personally ... If I thought that the swimsuit I wore last year would be okay.

It's getting smaller than I thought.

Do I have to buy a new one? I think again,

2 years ago, if you sit down on the jabujabu pond

It was small enough to drown completely

Now it's a size that doesn't worry at all ...

I felt shy and growth.

How long can you play this year?

I would like to enjoy both my mother and child.
