Oishina Tamadon [Shirayuki No. 2 store]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] September 17, 2018 09:00

This is Shirayuki No. 2 store on the 2nd floor of Charman Hatchobori, Shintomi 1-chome.

shiray201803.JPG

It will be the second store of the eel shop "Shirayuki" right next to it.

It is located on the second floor of the Hong Kong-en Hatchobori store, which I introduced the other day.

The nearest station is Hatchobori Station, which is about a 4-minute walk away.

shiray201804.JPG

This is an izakaya where you can enjoy authentic eel dishes with karaoke at night, but it is a restaurant where you can enjoy a relaxing meal during the day.

Because it is on the second floor, it is quiet and has a snack-like interior, so you can eat calmly.

As for the lineup of lunch, "Tsukimi Oyakodon", "Yaki Gyudon", "Sukiyaki Nabe", "Motsunabe", and "Unashige" are lined up. Today, I ordered "Unatamadon" is.

shiray201802.JPG

Lunch time is from Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 13:20 until the last order. In the evening, from 17:30 to 22:30 until the last order.

On Saturday, it will be open only at night.

Regular holidays are Sunday and public holidays.

Thank you for lunch with vegetable salad and soup.

"Unatamadon" has a very good match between eel and egg, and the sauce (dashi) soaked in rice is delicious.

The store's response is also pleasant

shiray201805.JPG

There are plenty of night banquet plans (e.g., karaoke singing all-you-can-eat karaoke, secondary party courses, etc.)

I'll come again.

A safe and fulfilling authentic Chinese lunch [Hong Kong-en Hatchobori store]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] September 13, 2018 09:00

Hong Kong-en Hatchobori, an authentic Chinese restaurant based in Shanghai & Sichuan, located just a bit on the Kyobashi side from Irifune 1-chome, Shin-ohashi-dori St.

The nearest station is Hatchobori Station.

hong201801.JPG

There are plenty of lunch menu here.

hong201802.JPG

Today, I ordered "Fukahire Ankake Rice Set"

This set is quite volumey, but it's delicious so it's okay at all.

The shark fins are mellow and familiar with rice and really delicious.

It is also nice to have vegetable salad, egg soup, and spicy sprouts.

No matter what you eat, it is a safe taste.

hong201803.JPG

It will be full after 12:00 on weekdays, so we recommend entering the store early.

Our business hours are from 11:00 to 23:30.

It's open on Sunday as well.

hong201804.JPG

Anyway, there are many variations of lunch set, so if you are thinking about lunch near here, please consider it.

Rediscover the charm of Chuo-ku! Bon Odori in Hatchobori and Kyobashi

[Hanes] September 11, 2018 18:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
It was in September in a blink of an eye, and I began to feel autumn in the wind.

A while ago, I went to Hatchobori Bon Odori, which was held at Keika Square at the end of August.
Last year, I moved to Chuo-ku and it was only a few months ago.
I didn't just look at it from the street, so this year's first full participation!
The sound of musical instruments unique to Bon Odori resonates around me, so I am naturally excited.
I felt so long that I was waiting for the traffic light.

DSC_2656.JPG

Only the last two songs were participated, but "This is Edo Bon Dance" and "This is Edo Bon Dance".

DSC_2659.JPG

You can feel the uniqueness of Chuo-ku and Hatchobori, such as the "Edo Hatchobori Ondo" decorated with birds.

DSC_2661-.jpg

There was an image of "Tokyo = a dry community with no neighborhood association".
Chuo-ku completely overturned my preconception
There are surprisingly many foreigners who enjoy Japanese culture in one hand, and there are international aspects.
I feel like I was able to get a glimpse of the livable aspects of Chuo-ku, which values connections within the area.
Also, the colorful Japanese lantern that colors the night sky was impressive!

HCB3.jpg

At the end, fireworks were launched from the second floor.
Unlike the big fireworks festival, it can be launched nearby, so it's impressive.
What can raise fireworks in this way in the town, with the cooperation and understanding of local fire brigades.
I learned the details and easy-to-understand articles of senior correspondent Tokyo Dumbo, who was reporting on this Bon Odori the other day.

Next is Kyobashi Bon Odori at Kyobashi Chuo Hiroba, which I happened to start the next day.
The other day, Mr. Ginzo, a senior correspondent, also reported.
The venue was excited in men and women of all ages wearing yukata without losing the rain!

It is also impressive that the sound of the flute was echoing throughout the venue.

DSC_2679.JPG

For me from Ibaraki, which is rich in nature, it was very fresh to perform Bon Odori between modern commercial facilities, but it was very fresh.
It is unique to Chuo-ku that you can enjoy Bon Odori, which combines these traditions and modern times.

You can enjoy the Bon Odori introduced this time just by looking at it.
You should also be satisfied with those who are not good at dancing!

Order "Curry of minced meat and vegetables"

The rice was hard and matched with curry, had plenty of minced meat and spicy, and the vegetables had a strong presence, and it was delicious.

With boiled eggs and pickles, it's delicious and looks good.

Another lunch menu on the day, "Green Curry of Shrimp and Vegetables" was also delicious.

khadon201804.JPG

I haven't visited the restaurant at night yet, but it seems that the shop will serve a fun tidbits based on the concept of "ates in various countries", so I would like to taste a wine stand with a good atmosphere for the long autumn night that will begin.

Japanese pampas grass flowering

[Sam] September 10, 2018 14:00

DSC07184ELS'.jpgDSC07186RS'G.jpg On September 6, the Tokyo Regional Meteorological Observatory reported that one of the Japan Meteorological Agency's biological seasonal observation information "Japanese pampas grass Flowering".

3 days earlier than normal and 5 days earlier than last year.

Because the spike resembles the tail of an animal, it is also called Obana, and it is counted as one of the seven herbs in autumn, and is a plant that symbolizes autumn. It is also used for decorations for fifteen nights, autumn motifs such as Japanese painting and Makie, local toys, and thatched roofs, and is popular with many people over time.

Horticultural varieties include Takanohasuki, Shima Japanese pampas grass, and Itosuki.

Along the Hakozaki Riverside Green Road, Japanese pampas grass is fighting against the wind against the backdrop of the Sumida River Ohashi.

The view of Japanese pampas grass shining in the sun against the river surface is a typical scene of early autumn.

Tour of the Tokyo Stock Exchange Arrows

[TAKK...] September 7, 2018 09:00

The relocation of Tsukiji Market is approaching on October 6, and it has become a hot topic.
Meanwhile, I visited the Tokyo Stock Exchange (Tokyo Stock Exchange), which can be said to be the "market" representing Chuo-ku.
The Tokyo Stock Exchange is located in Nihonbashi Kabutocho, Chuo-ku, but the nearest station is Kayabacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and Hibiya Line.

01.jpg

  ・

The tour facility "Tokyo Stock Exchange Arrows" does not require reservations and can be visited free of charge from 9:00 to 16:30 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and the year-end and New Year holidays).

※Reservations are required for free tours and guided tours for groups of 10 or more.
※The final admission time is 16:00, but it seems that the final admission time may be advanced or admission may be restricted due to circumstances.
The entrance is west exit.

02.jpg

When you enter the museum, take a strict security check like an airport, and you will first visit a museum where you can learn about the history of securities.
Tokyo Stock Exchange, the predecessor of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, was established in 1878 and was reopened in 1949 after a period of turmoil after the war, and a new market was completed in 1984.
There is a corner where you can experience stock trading on the second floor.

・

As you go ahead, things that you often see on TV and newspapers appear, and the tension naturally rises.

Through a tour of the Tokyo Stock Exchange Arrows, I realized once again that Chuo-ku is supporting the Japanese economy.
Recently, adult social tours seem to be popular.
How about everyone!
