You can eat bonito, but it is sad that there is no conspicuous mustard. When he wrote the sadness in the exiled area as a phrase and sent it to a friend, the friend thought of the loneliness of his friend in the exiled area, and returned the tears over the tears with a mustard. These people used a mustard as a condiment, right?

Gekkoin was a concubine of the sixth Shogun Ienobu, the real mother of the seventh Shogun Ietsugu, and held real power in Ooku. It was Eshima (Ejima) who served the Gekkoin. Eshima goes to Zojoji Temple for worship at the name of Gekkoin Temple. On the way back, I watched Shingoro Ikushima's Kabuki at Yamamura-za in Kibiki-cho (present-day Higashiginza and Kabuki-za in the vicinity of Kabuki-za) for entertainment from Goyo-cho (who wanted to gain interest in Ooku). After that, Eshima and her ladies and Shingoro Ikushima went to the banquet. The feast is exciting, and Eshima is late to the curfew of Ooku. In this case, Eshima and Ikushima are suspected of misconduct. There is a theory that this was a conspiracy aimed at destroying Gekkoin by Teneiin, the lawful wife of Ienobu.
Eshima is sentenced to Toshima, but it was deposited by Kiyokazu Naito of the Takato clan due to a petition from Gekkoin. Even though it is said that the imprisonment in a narrow and enclosed mansion with a lattice in the window seemed to be harsh. The townspeople who had deprived their interests in Ooku, the women who participated in the banquet, the brothers of Eshima, and the members of Yamamuraza were also severely punished, and Yamamuraza was abolished.
Shingoro Ikushima is a remote island to Miyakejima Island. Therefore, the phrase "Hatsubonito" was written. There is a theory that the return phrase is the second generation Danjuro Ichikawa.

His life on Miyakejima Island ended in 12 years due to the amnesty of Tsunayoshi's death. However, since the horn died in the tenth year, the reunion of the two could not come true.

The subject looks like a familiar and easy-to-understand phrase, but there are actually many difficult phrases because it incorporates a wide range of knowledge into phrases, including waka, Chinese poetry, Chinese books, and subordinate stories.
The following is a very easy-to-understand phrase that is said to be the phrase of the corner.

The corner that lived around Yakushi Kayabacho, where the famous Sorai Ogyu-sensei lives next to us! It is a clear phrase like pride.
However, this phrase is questioned whether it is not the phrase of the corner, "Edo Famous Places" Vol. 1 "Haisenho Shinsai Sokakuno no Yado" . I don't know if the phrase of the horn is written, but I know that the horn and Sorai Ogyu were close to the house. It's an explanation. It may have been made as a phrase for that horn when someone later talked about Sorai Ogyu.
Even if you do not clarify who wrote the first bonito phrase, it will be a condiment that will survive the lives of Shingoro Ikushima and Iccho Hanabusa, who were on the island of Miyakejima Island, so I wonder if that's okay.
