This spring, on the Tsukiji side of Kachidokibashi, an "introduction passage for wheelchairs and baby carriages" descending to the Sumida River Terrace was opened.
Until now, there was only one installation road for construction workers on the St. Luke Garden side, which was inconvenient for wheelchair users.
With the opening of the introduction route from Kachidokibashi, the Sumida River Terrace has become even more convenient and easier to use.
It is a gentle passage that goes to the Tokyo Mizube Line sightseeing boat yard and a resting place where you can see water birds and flowers of the four seasons.
