Tokyo Marathon 2010

[The cat on the hill] March 2, 2010 09:30

The 4th Tokyo Marathon was held on February 28, a cold rainy Sunday.

Among the courses of the Tokyo Marathon with almost no undulations, it is said to be the biggest challenge.
It is Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge located 36 km away. I whipped on my feet that have not moved after 35 kilometers
It is a strong wind on the Sumida River that is waiting for the runner who has finally climbed the bridge.
And the downhill from there comes to your feet.

I'm also a citizen runner. I have experienced this difficulty twice in the past.
But the cheering from the roadside, which can be heard in a tough place, is really grateful.
This year, in the rain, many people were cheering on Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge.

Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge is a recommended support spot because runners can be seen well.
Ladies and gentlemen, at the Tokyo Marathon next year, we cheered the runners on the Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge.
After that, I slowly warmed up in several public baths in the Tsukuda and Tsukishima areas.
Would you like to enjoy a delicious meal? “Next year, I too!” What a secret determination might be made...

6 miles away, keep on!                            Strong support even when it is near the end
