Green alley space

[Sam] April 12, 2010 18:58

CIMG0629S.JPGCIMG1178SS.JPGIn March 2009, Chuo-ku formulated the "Chuo-ku Green Basic Plan".

In addition to the “green coverage” (currently 9.1% ⇒ target 12%) indicating the total amount of greenery, the “green visibility ratio” (currently 37.6% ⇒ target 50%) as an index that allows you to feel the richness of greenery such as street trees and wall greening. We aim to realize "Midori Ichikatsu "Urban Oasis".

One of the features of Chuo-ku is that there are many small alleys that have escaped the earthquake and war damage along with the wide roads. In the alleyways, local residents can see the planting of potted plants, bonsai, planters, etc. using empty spaces. In addition, at Ishikawajima Park, etc., there is also a way to use a greening space using the back of the seawall. Based on the actual situation of the region, it is hoped that the greening of the alley space will be inherited as a local culture along with the promotion of such development in alleys and green roads.

Even if the cityscape changes and the generation of the residents changes, the back alley is alive.

The scenery seen beyond the alley is changing so much that it can be overlooked.

The back alley with a nostalgic smell of life.

Why don't you rediscover the place of relaxation and moisture for people, and the alley space of Midori?
