On the right side of the Ningyocho intersection a little toward Horidomecho, there is a modern building and an old-fashioned shop-style shop.
This area is a town that was once called [Genyadana]. It is a stage famous for Kabuki's care kyogen, "Kyoho Ukina Yokogushi", that is, "Otomi-san". There is an explanation board indicating the edge of the street.
On the first floor of the building mentioned earlier, a sign indicating the trace of Ningyocho Suehiro, which was here until 1968 (Showa 43), is embedded.
It was a famous vaudeville where Showa masters competed for art. Not only Kabuki and rakugo, but this area is a town that preserves the atmosphere of Edo culture.
It's fun to take a walk while soaking in a little nostalgic mood.
