imperial procession on portable shrine Chuo-dori, Akira Kanda Jindai

 Kanda festival, telling the arrival of early summer, Sunday, the 9th, the imperial procession of the Great portable shrine was held.

IMG_0146.JPG This year, even though it was the year of the festival, the celebration of the 700th anniversary of the celebration of Heishomon was celebrated, and it was a very exciting festival with the first set-up of Akira Kanda Jindai portable shrine and Masakadozuka Preservation Society Dai portable shrine. In particular, at the portable shrine of the Masakadozuka Preservation Society, businessmen in the Otemachi office district participated as a big leader, adding further expansion and thickness to Kanda festival. It was said that there were 200,000 people along the road.
IMG_0150.JPG This year's imperial procession in the Chuo-ku area is Tokiwa Bridge, Nihonbashi to Muromachi 4-chome. After noon, Shinto ritual was held at Masakadozuka at the same time as portable shrine, followed by imperial procession along Otemachi Sankei Building, whereby Akira Kanda Jindai portable shrine crossed Tokiwa Bridge around 2 o'clock to Nihonbashi Kitazume, turn left at Mitsukoshi and walk north of Chuo-4-dori, imperial procession.

 The imperial procession line was followed by lion head floats, Kanda Hayashi stall, and large portable shrines, followed by the festival's shrine parishioner Elementary School children with great cheers.
