A small view with a "babbling"

[Sam] June 3, 2010 08:45

CIMG2781RS.JPGThe area of waters in Chuo-ku is 18.3% of the total. The water area ratio is the largest in the 23 wards, and it can be said that it is an area blessed with valuable waterside space suitable for being called the "city of water".

There were times when the city and the waterside were separated due to the decline of boat transportation, flood control, and the improvement of function priority during the period of high economic growth, but in recent years the natural environment of the waterside and the function as a hydrophilic space have been re-examined, and parks and public spaces have been renewed. We are working on the regeneration of comfortable waterside spaces by unifying open spaces and improving terraces.

Consideration is also being given to water purification, ecosystem conservation, water and green landscapes, and amenities in waterside spaces.

The wind flowing through the river surface, the cool effect of the waterside itself, the value of water and green landscape, etc. are attracting more and more attention.

This time, I would like to introduce the "babbling" of the water mainly in the open space, which I meet during a walk in the city.

Refreshing breeze that shakes the leaves of the tree and the sound of water flowing through the shallow water.

While a small space built in the valleys of offices and residential buildings, it creates a moment of peace.
