St. Luke's International Hospital is a hospital with a history founded in 1902. The current building, completed in 1992, has 520 beds and the average number of outpatients per day is 2,500.
Since its establishment, the goal has been to provide patient-centered medical care and nursing under the spirit of Christianity.
In addition, it is said that in the event of a large-scale disaster, the function is temporarily expanded and medical treatment can be performed. (Three years after completion, it was regrettablely demonstrated in the subway sarin incident in 1995.)
As introduced in the "Rooftop Garden to Heal the Heart" on May 11, a rooftop garden with the theme of light and greenery is attached to the 6th floor.
At this time, the Tsurubara tunnel is fruitful (upper right photo), and it is not as gorgeous as the spring flowers are in full bloom, but it provides a place to relax with seasonal vegetation.
Concerts and health lectures are also held at the Toysler Memorial Hall on the 2nd floor.
