Tsukiji River Park December Story of Metasequoia

 Fossils that had previously been identified as the genus Numasgi and Sequoia in Europe, the United States and Japan have been extinct.

 In 1945, an unknown plant discovered in Hubei Province, China was found to be the same as the genus Metasequoia discovered by Dr. Miki in fossils. This is introduced in the book below.
