Michizo Tachihara Learn here

[North Yujin] May 19, 2011 10:36

An explanation board stands in the planting on the left front of "Hisamatsu Elementary School" in Nihonbashihisamatsucho.

It seems to have been built on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the opening of the school.

I would like to introduce it.

Michizo Tachihara Learn here

Michizo Tachihara (Michizo Tachihara), one of Japan's leading lyric poets, graduated from our school in 1927 His birthplace manufactures wooden boxes for packing in Tachibana-cho (currently Higashi Nihonbashi 3-chome).

He lost his father when he was young, but he spent his childhood full of compassion with his mother, climbing, and his two-year-old younger brother, Tatsuo (graduated from our school), and spent six years in elementary school.

Eventually, interest in a wide range of fields, such as painting, music, tanka poetry, and astronomy, began to flourish as he progressed to the prefectural Minaka, Ichitaka, and the University of Tokyo.

At university, he entered the Department of Architecture and received the Shingo Tatsuno Award (*), which was given to top performers, three times during his enrollment. On the other hand, he deepened exchanges with Saisei Muro and Tatsuo Hori, and built a unique world in the form of a sonet (14 poems) set in the literary magazine "Shiki".

Although it was a short life of only 24 years, delicate brushes spread to grass, trees, birds and clouds, and still capture the hearts of many people.

* Kingo Tatsuno is known for the design of the Tokyo station building and the Bank of Japan.

To celebrate the 135th anniversary of the opening of my alma mater

                   Hisamatsu Elementary School Alumni Association

                                         Hisamatsu Elementary School Matsuyukai

Yes, it is.

 He also wrote his poems.

 I'll introduce you.

     What I dreamed of ...

What I dreamed is one happiness

   It is a love.

There is a quiet village over the mountain.

There is a blue sky on a bright Sunday

The girls in the countryside with parasols

I'm singing a song with my wear.

   Make a big round ring

The daughters of the country are dancing

   What you are saying

A little bird with blue wings

   Sings with low branches

What I dreamed is a love

One happy thing is one happiness

   All of them are here

By the way, the "Michizo Tachihara Memorial Hall" in Hongo closed at the end of September last year.

The materials are said to have been entrusted to Shinano Drawing Museum in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture.

Hisamatsu Elementary School is a historic school that opened in 1873.

At the time of opening the school, there is an episode that a large amount of money was donated by former Matsuyama feudal lord and Sadakata Hisamatsu.

It is said that they are interacting with Bancho Elementary School in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture.

As mentioned in the novel, "Clouds on the Hill", I am taking care of the former feudal lord in Hamacho, such as the Akiyama brothers and Shiki Masaoka.

If you come nearby, please look for it.
