There is gastronomy where there is a masterpiece ~ Bridgestone Museum of Art

[Vickie] August 11, 2011 08:30

Have you ever felt that the number of museums that have attracted the cafe restaurant itself has increased recently due to new construction or rebuilding?

Nogizaka's The National Art Center, Tokyo's French "Paul Bocques" and Kaga Fu cafe "shoxcafe" at the Suntory Museum of Art, etc. It is very attractive that you can enjoy delicious food while soaking in the lingering lingering without moving around.

There is also such a recommended museum cafe in Chuo-ku!

By the way, the preface has become longer, but today I visited the Bridgestone Museum of Art, one of the best museums in Chuo-ku, known for its diverse works of impressionist.

The name of the attached tea room is "Joljet". This is derived from Renoir's masterpiece "Suwaru Gorjet Charpantier", the most popular collection at the Bridgestone Museum of Art.

By the way, this is Jorjet-chan.
An angel-like smile will heal your heart at any time. There are many fans, too.

Menu signboard. Thumbnail image of jpgAt first glance, this tea room seems to be a common "cafe with an art museum", but there is no such thing!
The sandwich, which is prepared for only 30 meals every day, requires reservations up to the day before.
It is a special dish of a long-established Western dish, red dragonfly.

There is also a signboard at the entrance.

Actually, I came up with this visit on Sunday night. The museum was closed on Monday, so I visited the store shortly after Tuesday opening without making a reservation. Pounding ...

The inside of the store is not so large, but classical music flows and a very calm atmosphere. Above all, the staff's response is very pleasant and looks like a hotel lounge. ^^

Just after opening, the sandwich you are looking for is still OK! That's right. It was good~

Red dragonfly sandwich jpg This is the red dragonfly sandwich set. A set of drinks and small desserts is conscientious at 1200 yen. I chose Tarocco orange juice because I wanted to try something a little strange. This is also delicious. In addition to summer-like jelly, small cookies are also attached, so you can relax after meals.

Perhaps it is a feature of the museum cafe, there are many people who come alone, so you can enjoy it very quietly. Magazines and books related to art were also prepared, and I was able to spend a relaxing time with a drink in one hand.

By the way, it seems that juice and sweets are provided free of charge to children (elementary school students and younger). Very conscience!

Oh...? Oh, yes, I came to see the exhibition today! It was a wonderful tea room that made me feel like that (laughs).

Yes, in this collection, the statue of the "Messenger" enshrined at Chuo-ohashi Bridge (a proof of friendship with Seine, France). There is a sculpture of Osship Zackin that is familiar with (a houseboat was given to thank you from Japan). Please take a look at it!
