　Following Swan Bakery, which I introduced several times before, today we are "Swan Café"

Swan Bakery was founded in 1998. And Swan Cafe celebrated its 9th anniversary.

　In the morning, I had time to stop by my customer, so I had a coffee at Swan Cafe.　This was fragrant, and it was so delicious that it was incomparable to the coffee of these chain stores.　I couldn't go on the night of the 9th anniversary, but the menu such as lunch seems to be substantial.　I'd like to introduce you to you.

On October 30, a large parade was held on Chuo-dori to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the bridge of Nihonbashi, the base of the five highways spread throughout Japan.

We started Nihonbashi Sanzen Echizen and proceeded slowly and lively to Kyobashi.

 

Miss Chuo, the 30th Chuo-ku Tourism Ambassador, is also very active. 

 

This is a parade of classic cars following the leading white bike squad.　Only a few cars ran here, but in fact dozens of famous historical cars and cars were exhibited in front of the Bank of Japan, and many enthusiasts gathered and enthusiastically.

Above all, at [Nihonbashi], the "Nihonbashi Festival" was held, and it was very lively. It seems to be a milestone of the 100th anniversary since the current bridge was built, and the festive mood rises without hesitation.

 

Since its construction in 1911, Nihonbashi has been watching Japan's growth. It was designated as a national important cultural property in 1999. It is a magnificent bridge with a Renaissance style. Until the end of last year, the Nihonbashi Cleaning Project has been cleaning up, and makeup has been corrected, and this day has just begun. 

Since the Metropolitan Expressway covered the bridge in 1963 as part of the urban development of the Tokyo Olympics, many people have missed their former appearance, but local elders said, `` At that time, the Olympic celebration mood was full, The expressway seemed to be a symbol of a new era. " In this era, I may have been able to afford to think about the problem of urban aesthetics.　

Even so, [Nihonbashi] Appare has been showing its presence as a pride of the region for a long time! I was surrounded by the feeling of that.　

 

Anyway, on this day, various events were also held in the Nihonbashi area. Classic cars lined up in front of the head office of the Bank of Japan, and festive boats came and went on the Nihonbashi River.

 

Until the end of next month, the Chuo-ku Tourism and Commerce Festival will continue to be held. Fun projects are being prepared mainly by department stores and shopping associations, and treasure hunting games are also being well received.  Nihonbashi, built in 1603 with the birth of Edo shogunate, has been refurbished and rebuilt many times since then, and in 1911 (Meiji 44), it became the 100th anniversary of this year.

On October 30 (Sun), the 39th Nihonbashi-Kyobashi Festival and the 100th Anniversary Festival of Nihonbashi Bridge were jointly held entitled "Nihonbashi Bridge Centennial Festival", and the Nihonbashi area was bustling all day long.

The year after the bridge was established as the starting point of the Gokaido, prospered as a center of land and water transportation, and many supplies from all over the country gathered to support the economic prosperity of Edo, the world's largest city at the time.

At the Boat Festival, a boating procession was held by a small Japanese wooden boat "Wafune" in memory of the past.

Japanese boats used for sightseeing in Kawagoe, Tochigi, and Katori, which are said to be "Koedo 3 cities", are newly installed this spring at Nihonbashi Bridges with the aim of reviving the "Water Road" around Tokyo.

The bustle of the banks of the Edo period, where a wide variety of boats, such as cargo boats and wedding boats, came and went, was reproduced.
