We enjoyed the Nihonbashi River by boat from Kanda River.

[Sunset Hill] Nov. 8, 2011 08:30

ssIMGP1394.jpgI participated in the autumn festival in Chiyoda-ku.

From the Izumi Bridge Disaster Prevention Pier in Akihabara, go through the Hijiribashi (the arch shape is beautiful) of the Kanda River, and from Kudanshita to the Nihonbashi River.

I will return to Akihabara at Nihonbashi Pier.

The water quality of the Nihonbashi River has deteriorated for a while, but in recent years, in order to purify the river, EM bacteria, which works to remove dirty substances from the river, have been dropped on the river. Many companies are also cooperating in the purification of rivers.

ssIMGP1395.jpgYou can see the stone wall traces of the Edo period, pass under the bridge overhead (the boatman lowers the ship by lowering the eaves of the ship), and pass through the beautiful arch-shaped Joban Bridge.

We enjoyed the scenery that can only be seen by boat, such as under elevated high-speed roads and under overpasses of railways.

The guide's announcement is Tokiwa Bridge, Tokiwa Bridge, Tokiwa Bridge? ? ? I hear it.

These three Tokiwa Bridges

・The uppermost stream is Shin-Jobanbashi Edo-dori St., where both people and cars pass.

・In the middle is Joban Bridge (formerly Tokiwa Bridge).

It is said that it was built earlier than Nihonbashi (established in 1603).

Although it is a walking bridge, it is currently dangerous because it is closed and cannot pass.

The oldest stone arch bridge existing in Tokyo. Completed in 1877.

The fact that the word "stone" is used instead of the board on Jobanbashi is easy to break, and the word "plate" is used.

There seems to be a theory that "stones" were used because the bridge is not auspicious.

                       From Chuo-ku Publishing Booklet

・Tokiwa Bridge, which is attended by many vehicles and many people, was completed in 1926.

Many people waved their hands, probably the people preparing for the "Chuo-ku Marugoto Museum 2011" on October 30.

It's hard to get rid of the fall.

It seemed that the sun had suddenly fallen, and Nihonbashi was lit with orange lights.

I thought that the new building in Mitsukoshi would look more beautiful than seen on the ground.

You can see the new building of the Bank of Japan on the left, the old building of the Bank of Japan on the front, the money museum in front, and the Mandarin Hotel in the distance.

Hanamizuki on Matsuya Street

[illy-ship Sun Ichiro] Nov. 8, 2011 08:30

Namizuki is planted on Matsuya-dori, which passes through the border between Ginza 3-chome and 4-chome.

Spring is entertained with pink flowers, but now it has cute red fruits.

From now on, the leaves will turn red. You can feel the season even in the rows of trees in Ginza.

The performances in November are the faces of "Seventh Baiko Onoe 17th Anniversary" and "Nisei Shoroku Onoe 23rd Anniversary Pursuit".

In the Edo period, "Kamiyo" was a contract between the theater side and the actor for one year. Every November, a performance was held to show off actors who had signed an exclusive contract, and this was called "Kamiyo". Therefore, it is said that Shamise had the same meaning as New Year for those engaged in the play world. The face of Edo Osaka gradually ceased from the late Edo period, and was revived in Tokyo after the war. Many of you may know that the only one in the southern seat of Kyoto in Kyoto, is lined with Maiko and geisha in the flower streets on the pier, as it has become a feature of Kyoto in the New Year.

So I went to theater on the second night of my face-to-face life. Even though it is "Purchase", both of you still clearly see the stage appearance is that this is the age. There are many performances of the two sides both day and night. It is unique to "Purishment Performance" that each son, grandchild, and one actor plays it.

Kikunosuke's "Daughter Dojo-ji Temple" has attracted the audience since it appeared on the flower path. "Beautiful!" I hear a sigh of "ho" or "fu" It's amazing to keep the audience's gaze for about an hour until the end of the bell! It's a word.
It's also nice to see Mr. Tanosuke's cheerful face following last month's national country.

I went to Tenugui for the first time in a long time.
I'll show you it specially.

In the evening part, "Torouri" and "Shinzo Hairyu". In the daytime part, "Shinjo Gunka", "Mt. Yoshino", "Uoya Mune Goro"

Asakusa Heisei Nakamuraza, who has returned Kansaburo-san is a hot topic, is also a long run performance for seven months from this month. Kyoto's face-to-face show starts at the end of the month, and Kabuki fans enjoy it, the wallet is Itai and the beginning of the full-fledged Kabuki season.

The new shrine of Yanoko Inari Shrine

[North Yujin] Nov. 5, 2011 08:30

Higashi Nihonbashi 2-chome Just behind Yagenbori Fudoin, there is Yanoko Inari Shrine.

The new shrine hall was dedicated to the opening of the Yagenbori Fudoin 420 years ago.

A votive monument is set up.

It's the same as before.

yanokura 007.JPG

I would like to introduce it.

Auspicious

When the area around Higashi-Nihonbashi 1-chome was called Tanino, the Shogunate built a rice brewery in 1645 (1645).

It was called Tanino Kura and Yanokura. In the garden, Sansha Inari Shrine, which combines three shrines as the gods of Mikura.

It was a festival. The three companies consisted of Tanino Kura Inari in the center, Fukutomi Inari on the left, and Shinzaemon Inari on the right, but after about 50 years later, Mikura was relocated to Gunshu in 1698 (1698) and Sansha Inari was moved together. People who live in the back of Mikura regret their names and leave Sansha Inari there, and are still enshrined at Higashi Nihonbashi 1-chome as "Yanoko Sansha Inari". Later, in 1873 (1873), "Shinzaemon Inari" was introduced.

In 1932 (1932), "Fukutomi Inari" was relocated to "Hatsune Mori Shrine" in our town, and remains.

"Tanino Kura Inari" has changed many changes and places, and has set up its company in the existing area. The characters used in the name have been changed to a name that emphasizes the character "Yanoko Inari" and especially "Ko".

enshrined deity, like Sansha Inari Shrine, is considered to be "Uga soul life" and does not exist in sacred object of worship, of course.

I have a sickle and rice ears in my hand. "

Regarding the case of Yonekura, a monument of "Yanokura" is built on the southwest corner of Nihonbashi Junior High School Building.

On the right side, the purpose of the building is written.

Purpose

Volunteers in the town came together to build this monument as a commemorative project for the town council, hoping that the historical place name of Yanokura will be lost due to the passage of the times, and as a historic site, it will be a story of the people of the later world. It was done.

The origin is written on the left side.

Origin

Since the early Edo period, this area has been called Tanino, and in 1645 (1645), the Tokugawa Shogunate built Yonekura, which was built in Yano.

It was called Okura. In 1698 (1698), it was destroyed by fire, and Yonekura was moved to Tsukiji. After moving to Yonekura to late Tokugawa shogunate

In this area, the northeastern part became Machiya, the northwest and south became samurai areas, divided into Yanagisawa Dewa Moriyashiki and several mansions, and later became the residences of others such as Ikimori Matsudaira. Characters such as Taninokura, Tanikura, Yanokura, Yanokura, and Yanokura have long been addressed to the place name of Yanokura Town, but in 1872, the name of folklore was set as Yanokura Town. . April 1, 1971 Higashi-Nihonbashi 1-chome was changed due to the change of the street name accompanying the implementation of the house display.

This monument is erected to commemorate the preservation of the old town name from the Edo period.

"Lunchtime Concert" - Hamarikyu Asahi Hall

1. Nov. 5, 2011 08:30

Many people seem to be shunning, saying, "I'm not good at classical music." I'm one of them, but today I was invited by a friend and went to a concert after a long time. The venue, Hamarikyu Asahi Hall, is located in the new building of the Tsukiji Asahi Shimbun, and is well known to music fans as a hall with good sound effects.

100_0257.JPG
But what is "Lunchtime Concert"?

According to Mr. Hamayoshi, General Manager of the hall, "We have been conducting a classic with a high threshold for eight years since noon so that you can enjoy more easily and more closely. The time is shorter than a regular concert, at a reduced fee, and childcare is possible if you apply in advance. "

By the way, this hall opened in 1992 as a chamber music hall, and in 1996 it was evaluated as "EXCELLENT" along with Carnegie Hall as the first hall with good sound in Japan by the American Society of Acoustics.

This year's 93rd time, Ayako Oshima & Naoko sisters clarinet and piano DUO recital, who are active in NY. It's a great success. From Chausson and Bernstein to Kosaku Yamada's Japanese songs, you won't get tired of the performance that fits perfectly with the occasional narration. For an hour and 30 minutes, we spent a little graceful and relaxing time during this time. Even so, a performer needs physical strength.

"I'm just hungry ..." For lunch with a friend who has an appetite more than music. On the website of the hall, you can see "Recommended restaurants near after lunchtime concert". It's a lot of time.

And today is a great surprise. At the exit of the hall, a selection of sweets from Kameda Confectionery was given as a souvenir. It was a limited sponsorship on this day, but it was a nice day that I felt very much. How about finding your favorite program and having a little short and elegant moment?

Future lunchtime concert: All performances start at 11:30, entrance fee: 2,800 yen

The charm of Chuo-ku-ku-"Sumida River and Seine" ... 6 ≪Night View and Song≫

[Shitamachi Tom] Nov. 4, 2011 17:00

This is <Part 6> of a series that rediscovers the charm of Chuo-ku through comparison between the Sumida River and the friendship river Seine in Paris.

This time, let's get acquainted with "night view" and "singing".note

Night view of Seine jpg

Speaking of Paris, "Shanson" ... It fits well with the stylish and melancholy town scenery. Originally, it was said that a barn poet told the feelings of the general public on a song and walked. In other words, it shows development similar to Japan's enka ballad, the preaching section, and the new internal flow. Is it because there is such a background that Japanese people are attracted to their hearts with some nostalgic feelings?

The night view of the Eiffel Tower. jpg

Shanson, sung in the 1951 movie "Bari's Sky Under Seine Flows", became standardized thereafter. He sang Piaf and Eve Montan, and Fubuki Koshiji also sang.

"♪ The song under the sky of Paris is a song that grew in the hearts of the young people who flow in Lalara ..." The lyrics that series are interwoven with landscapes such as San Louis Island and Notre Dam, and just listen to it I can scratch it.shine

I'm sure there's a chanson playing here and there in Paris tonight. It looks even more similar to the night view of autumn.

On the other hand, the changes in the scenery from dusk to night in the Sumida River show a tasteful appearance. Standing on the bridge and watching the sunset is a rich time. <Photo: View Tsukuda Park from Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge>

And the song goes well again. The bright scenery of "Spring Urara Sumida River ..." appearing in Rentaro Taki's "Flowers" is also wonderful, but the stylish world when the sun falls and the lights of the town are lit is also hard to throw away.night

The famous "Meiji Ichiyo Woman" spells a bold love story at the time, saying, "♪ floating and floating on the banks of Hamacho and the embarrassment of willow ...". When Yoshicho was crowded as a flower district, there would have been various dramas.

201109 Tokyo Tower Night View_R.JPGIn addition, the lyrics of Kouta "Water River" read the flow of the Sumida River, where the summer dawns dawn, "The morning glory, which blooms white someday on a short night and blooms warmly ..."

The names of Eitai Bridge, Kiyosu Bridge, Shinohashi and bridges also appear one after another, deepening their emotions as if they were shaken by a boat going through the river.ship

Autumn is deepening, and it is a good season to think about various things. If you touch the night view of the Sumida River and cross the bridge while humming your favorite song, you may remember that you have forgotten it. <Lower photo: Looking at Tsukiji Market from Kachidokibashi>

Please enjoy this season.apple
