We participated in the autumn festival in Chiyoda-ku.
It is a cruise from the Izumi Bridge Disaster Prevention Deck in Akihabara, through Hijiribashi (the arch shape is beautiful) of the Kanda River, and from Kudanshita to the Nihonbashi River.
We will return to Akihabara at the Nihonbashi dock.
The water quality of the Nihonbashi River has deteriorated for a while, but in recent years, it seems that EM bacteria, which work to remove dirty substances in rivers, have been dropped into rivers to purify the river. In addition, many companies are cooperating in river purification.
You can see the ruins of the stone wall in the Edo period, pass under the bridge overhead (the boatman lowers the ship's eaves and lowers the ship), and pass through the beautiful arch-shaped "Joban Bridge".
We enjoyed the scenery that can only be seen by boat, such as underpass on high-speed roads and underpasses on railways.
The guide's announcement is Tokiwa Bridge, Tokiwa Bridge, Tokiwa Bridge? ? ? I can hear you.
These three Tokiwa-bashi Bridges
・The uppermost stream is Shin Jobanbashi Edo-dori St., where both people and cars pass.
・The middle is Joban Bridge (former Tokiwa Bridge).
It is said that it was built earlier than Nihonbashi (built in 1603).
Although it is a walking bridge, it is currently in danger and cannot pass.
The oldest stone arch bridge in Tokyo. Completed in 1877.
The word iwa is used instead of a board for Tokiwa-bashi Bridge, and the word 'plate' is easily broken.
It seems that there is a theory that "stone" was used because the bridge has not good luck.
From Chuo-ku Publishing Booklet
・Tokiwa Bridge, which has many vehicles and many people, was completed in 1926.

The ship makes a U-turn at the Nihonbashi dock.
Many people waved their hands, probably the people preparing for the "Chuo-ku Marugoto Museum 2011" on October 30.
In the autumn sun, it is a staggering drop.
It seemed that the sun had suddenly faded, and an orange light was lit in Nihonbashi.
I thought that the new building in Mitsukoshi would look more beautiful than it was seen on the ground.

You can see the new building of the Bank of Japan on the left, the old building of the Bank of Japan on the front, the Museum of Money on the right, and the Mandarin Hotel in the distance.
