Tokyo Marathon

[Orii Mai] February 28, 2012 08:30

2/26 (Sun) I went to support the Tokyo Marathon. It's the Kayabacho intersection. It was a time when there were many citizen runners. My colleague of my company friend boyfriend her neighbor Relatives There were lots of fun support with various voices in various positions. Participation in the costume also created a fun atmosphere. The runners would have been hard, but the supporters were also passionate and it was a really fun time.

Mr. Shin Fujiwara, the second place, is 2h7m48s, will he decide to participate in the Olympics?

The history of Tsukuda Island

[kimitaku] February 24, 2012 08:30

Tsukuda Island is located south of Chuo-ku, Chuo-ohashi Bridge, Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, and Aioi Bridge are made, making it very convenient.

I did it. When you enter the town, the old Tsukudaniya and the houses add a touch of taste.

The skyscrapers were also lined up, and until just a while ago, they could only cross by ferry.

But I can't believe it. P1010164-1.jpg

Early in the morning, I visited Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine.

chief priest is sweeping the grounds with bamboo brooms. I heard the sound of zazasars regularly,

Birds are singing on the branches of the trees. From the tranquility of the scene, the hustle and bustle of the surroundings looks like a lie.

I decided to examine the history of Tsukuda Island.

 Honnoji Temple Change, 1582 (1582)

Ieyasu Tokugawa, who was on the Oda side, was a fisherman of Settsukuda on the way from Sakai to Mikawa on the occasion of Honnoji Temple.

Magoemon Mori and others sent fishing boats and salted small fish at the beginning of the connection with Ieyasu.

Yeah. On the way, Shiro Chaya was one of the people who spared their cooperation.

 “Edo Immigration” 1590 (1590)

Ieyasu called out to 30 fishermen under Magoemon Mori and offered fish to the castle in Edo during the Edo period.

That's right. At that time, the place where he lived was Ando Tsushima Mamoru (accompany him in the event of a change, and acquainted with the forest)

It's inside the house.

After that, they provided food in the Osaka Winter Camp Summer Camp and also served as secret ambassadors. Also

They will continue for a long time, guarding intruders from the sea.

Ieyasu is a very rewarding person, and then fishermen in Tsukuda below Mori Sonemon decided to have privileges in Edo.

It will be.

 "Hell net"

In Osaka, fishing methods are much more advanced than Edo, and this hell net is a boat ride with six waterers, 7.

It is a fishing method in which you go offshore by boat, hand the net with three right hand and three left hand, and catch the fish with one net.

Thanks to this fishing method, we were able to carry a large amount of fish to the castle.

"White fish fishing"

The pattern on the black part of the head of the white fish was prized because it resembled the gate of Aoi. White fish moved from Ise

We planted it and let the fishermen of Tsukuda catch it. Even now, once a year, the "White Fish Offering Festival" is held.

"Open a store in Hon-Odawara-cho (now left bank of Nihonbashi River).}

In 1613 (1613), fish other than the supply to the castle were allowed to be sold outside the castle, and this was the Nihonbashi Fish Bank.

It's the foundation.

"Tsukuda Island"

At the time of the second shogun Hidetada, reclamation of the tidal flat downstream of the Sumida River was recognized, and residents of Tsukuda reclaimed themselves.

But now Tsukuda

After healing, landfill continued, and Shin-Tsukuda and Tsukishima were made. The photo shows the people of Tsukuda

Sir. Don't you feel the atmosphere of an old warrior?

Leaf Pie "Enju" - Wind and Soil

1. February 23, 2012 08:30

Do you know "Goe" (Enju)? "Goes" is a deciduous deciduous Takagi of the legume family, native to China, with yellow-white butterfly-shaped flowers in summer, and later produces a pearl-shaped pod. Buds are raw materials for Chinese herbal medicine [Kojien). It seems that the street trees on Ginza Sotobori-dori St. (Nishi Ginza Street) were previously planted with this Enju.

This time, I would like to introduce a leaf pie with the leaves of this Enju.

100_0407.JPG"Kaze and Sochi" was founded in 2009 and has its main store in Nishi-Ginza-dori. That's why I made a pie based on Enju, which was originally planted. It is nearly twice as thick as normal leaf pie. According to the shop, "We folded the simple dough of domestic flour and 100% Hokkaido butter and sprinkled organic white sesame as an accent." Many people know that "sweets are in the climate" have recently become popular due to their commitment to materials, and their exposure on TV and magazines is noticeable.

There was a map of Ginza street and street trees in the leaf pie box. "When the brick street was completed, pine, maple, cherry blossoms, etc. were planted on the street trees, but soon died, so we planted willows instead, which took root. It disappeared several times due to road renovation and fire, and the current willow is the fourth generation, and most guidebooks found in most guidebooks, so the image of "Ginza street tree = willow" was somehow fixed. In addition to willows, there are many things like dogwood, maple and Magnolia kobus. While walking around Ginza on a daily basis, I didn't care about the street trees only during the cherry blossom season (reflection). It should be warmer every day (?) In the coming season, how about a new way to enjoy "Silver Bra", which takes a walk while looking at the street trees? Even so, I would be glad if you put the name of "Street Tree" next to the name of the street on the map at the information in the city. (Although there are some streets such as Marronnier Street and Yanagi-dori St..) In addition, "Enju" seems to be partly left on Miyuki Street and Sotobori-dori St.

Historical Transition of Tsukiji Market 2-2

[kimitaku] February 22, 2012 08:30

After Ieyasu Tokugawa's arrival, the flow from Hirakawa was changed, the Hibiya cove was reclaimed, and the Dosan moat was excavated to create the Nihonbashi River.

The riverbank that was built on both banks of the Nihonbashi River becomes the prototype of the fish market.

Yokkaichi, which was located at the mouth of the former Hirakawa River, is also moved here.

  P1010159-1.jpg P1010157-2.jpg

After that, this market flourished, and at that time, some of the people who contributed greatly were fishermen from the former Tsukudamura in Osaka.

Ieyasu, along with Edo's immigration, attracts 30 fishermen from Settsu Tsukuda Village, who had a long friendship, including Magoemon Mori, to catch fish in Edo Bay and offer it to the castle.

In Osaka, the technology of catching fish was excellent, and Tsukuda fishermen were able to catch a large amount of fish in Edo Bay at once.

The rest of the fish will be sold to townspeople in Honmachi-cho, the north side of the Nihonbashi River, in 1613 (1613).

After that, residents of Osaka relocated one after another, and in 1641 (1641), 14 fish wholesalers lined up.

From the castle, sometimes there are 5,000 sea bream orders a day, and it is very prosperous, but at that time, the caught fish is filled with water on a large boat, put in a cage, and demand from the castle Prepare for

P1010161-1.jpg After that, a stick hand gesture (Note: 1) came to buy the fish and sold it in the town.

The stick hand gesture and a kind of doorboard that takes care of the wholesaler were placed side by side on the riverbank and sold it with a stick hand, but the doorboard was called a board boat, and its right to use It will be traded as a board ship right (very expensive).

Even now, many of the companies named "Tsukuda What's" on the banks are from Tsukuda Island.

In addition, some Tsukiji companies keep curtains for more than 400 years.

Note: Sold with a stick-handed balance rod. They stand between the fish wholesaler and the restaurant and do business.

I'll continue with the next week.

Ginza New Chocolatry OPEN Part 1

[Satsuki Yanagi] February 22, 2012 08:30

In Ginza, there are many famous chocolate shops (chocolate shops) in the world (including underground and street shops).

And this year, New Year's Day is over, and three new shops are open on January 4th, just before Valentine's Day!

The two of them all know well: Next to the building of the Belgian Chocolatery & Cafe "Pierre Marcolini Ginza", two shops were OPEN with their neighbors.

P1070580.jpg Today, I would like to introduce one of them (the shop on the right in the photo above).

P1070582.jpgFrance has been a long-established store in Albowa, the Jura region for more than 100 years.

"HIRSINGER Ilsan Jeh,"

In Albowa's main store, the first store and atelier becomes like a museum and is open to the public.

P1070583.jpgEdward Ilsan Jeh, the fourth-generation current owner and chocolatier, won the M.O.F. (Best Technology Craftsman Award in France) at the age of 33, and suddenly became a notable chocolatier worldwide.

The tricolor color on the collar of the cock coat is only allowed by M.O.F.

Mr. Edward and his wife

P1070584.jpg

Rabbits of the Pack Festival (Easter), fish molds of Poisson Dubrile (Aprilefur), and sables of Noel (Christmas), which have been handed down from generation to generation, are displayed in the store.

The eyes, nose and mouth are carved, and cute!

P1070586.jpg

And it's the important chocolate, but most of them were sold out.

Everything seems to be ¥600, ¥800, ¥1000, depending on each category.

"Part de Freuy (Fruit Jelly)" was on sale a little bit.

P1070585.jpg

Depending on what I heard from a certain person ...

Edward, who came to the store earlier this month, was surprised by these pricing!

"In France, sweets you enjoy everyday, so it's not so expensive."

"I am very pleased with the passion and affection of Japanese people for chocolate."

P1070587.jpg

Everything is handmade and air-lifted from France, so Itashikatanashi! That's right.

Would you give it to someone?

What a reward for yourself?

You may need more courage than usual when you get a single grain!

Delicious dried fish set meal and meal shop

[The cat on the slope] February 21, 2012 08:30

The expiration date of Happy Meal Tickets is approaching. While I was spared somehow, the shop I was planning to go was closed for a while on the return of the staff, or it was under renovation, so I was a little disappointed that the address I used recently came off.

Such a strong ally of my home is "Meshiya" in Tsukishima. Because it is a neighborhood, it is a shop that usually goes a little bit, but if you have a happy meal ticket, the frequency will increase further. As a result, 90% of the happy meals purchased this time were used at Meshiya.

"Meshiya" is the number one reputation in our home in the Tsukuda and Tsukishima areas. My parents' parents' parents come all the way to eat from Chiba. Dried food is delicious, but sashimi is also delicious and you can drink while enjoying various tidbits at night.

P2190456.JPG

Today's recommended set meal A. The dried fish of silver salmon and small horse mackerel are accompanied by rice, miso soup and grated radish.

P2190463.JPGBut that's not the case. The big attraction of "Meshiya" is the three glass bottles placed on the table.

P2190458.JPGPickles, salted squid, pickled kasu of a number of children, seaweed tsukudani, etc. are contained and you can enjoy as much as you like. In particular, Kasuzuke is my favorite. I'll sit on the table where this is placed.

"Meshiya" is a shop run by the president of a dried fish specialty store in Tsukiji, that is, a dried fish professional.
You can also buy dried fish at the shop, so it is also recommended as a souvenir.

P2190460.JPG  P2190461.JPG

Actually, "Meshiya" was used as a secret information. Adults, when I was with tourist association correspondent Ginzo and Yurikamome, I was told to introduce it on a blog, so I decided to release it (if you become a tourist association correspondent, you can also interact with such correspondents You can enjoy).

The location is opposite the Monja General Information Center, located at Exit 7 of Tsukishima Station.
