Gold leaf honey candy of [Hakuza Nihonbashi]

1. April 2, 2012 08:30

This "gold foil honey candy" was a souvenir for the exhibition of a kimono shop. It looks like a snow dome that glitters gold leaf in the transparent nectar in a square bottle. I feel sorry to open it, but in addition to the classic use of toast and yogurt, I came up with "Yes" and added it to blue cheese. It's like this.

100_0448.JPGIf you read the manual, it is a collaboration product with "Eitaro" that is limited to Hakuza Nihonbashi. Speaking of which, COREDO Muromachi was just looking at the time of opening, so I went out after a long absence.

Almost a year and a half have passed since the opening in October 2010, and it has become an impression that it has melted into the cityscape. The city is a creature, isn't it? The new commercial facility will soon be absorbed into a part of the familiar landscape from the past. It's amazing.

100_0446.JPG"Hakuza Nihonbashi" is located near the entrance of the 1st floor. The main store is Kanazawa, the home of "foil". I've been to a shop in Higashi Chaya-gai, and the atmosphere is somewhat similar. It is a shop that expands the areas of "foil" such as food, cosmetics, vessels, and interiors, and proposes new ways to use it. The design of tableware such as bracelets, necklaces, and balls made with pure gold platinum foil is also stylish and has a very good hobby. There was also "gold foil honey candy". Chocolate next to it is also a collaboration product with a long-established store. Next to the standard oil control paper, there are many cosmetics with gold leaf!

I found something interesting. The "Pokkin Chopsticks" (840 yen for 5 sets) is the disposable chopsticks with gold leaf. "Please open your chopsticks on the food." That's right. The gold leaf flutters on the dishes! I got it right away. The intention is to surprise the cherry blossom viewing visitors to my house, but the playfulness of the shop is really fun.

100_0447.JPGHe seemed to be more unusual, and I was invited to the shop to experience the "golden sky". The dome-shaped space in the middle of the shop is about 2m square, but the outside and inside are tightly affixed with gold leaf. I asked a few grams of gold leaf used, but I forgot it. I feel like I went through my mouth and entered the tea room in the booth. When you sit on a small stool, gold leaf sways like a mobile at the top of the light, which makes you feel somewhat strange.

After all, the radiance of GOLD continues to attract East and West people from ancient times.
