Meijiza will celebrate its 140th anniversary on April 28, 2013. On the second floor of Meijiza, the transition of the name and the actors who came out are introduced along with photos.

On the second floor of Meijiza, there is a panel explaining its history. Initially, it began under the name of Kishoza, and there was a change in Hisamatsu-za, Chitose-za, and Meijiza.
