[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 5, 2012 21:09

It was Golden Week this year when the weather was not goodraincloud.

Meanwhile, on sunMay 5, when it was pleasant, I went to Harumi Wshipharf for a stroll in search of the waterfront.happy01

Then, what I jumped into my eyes was this color water discharge.sign01

During the event of "Tokyo Minato matsuri" (which seems to be the 64th) held on May 12th and 13th, it was a practice scene of the "Firefighting Pageant of Water" held by the Tokyo Fire Department on the 13th.flair

The practice by the people of the Tokyo Fire Department is just like a live performance. From the deck of the Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal, it was done while communicating wirelessly shipwith each fire boat.

The water erupting into the clear sky of May and the wind blowing across Tokyo Bay were very comfortable for both eyes and skin.happy01

By the way, the coloring for color water discharge is said to be environmentally friendly.good

Let's hope that the day of the production will be sunny in Maysun like this day.sign03

Visit to Tokyo Art Antique Ginza Gallery

[Silver] May 4, 2012 08:30

"Tokyo Art Antique" was held for three days from April 27 to April 30.

On the evening of April 28, I visited a gallery, art and antique store and enjoyed it.

In addition to the A3 size manual and a map showing the location of the shop, the gallery obtained a map and ART MAP explaining the characteristics of the shop. It is a must-have for visiting art galleries throughout the year.

At the first visit to Etsuko Shibata Gallery in Ginza 1-chome, the president welcomed me warmly and smilingly.

Mr. Konishi Nakanaga gave a polite and easy-to-understand explanation of the works of art.

CIMG0350.jpg

At the antique Sasaki Ginza store, I was able to enjoy the exhibits slowly.

For those who are busy on a daily basis, it is very thankful to be able to go around the gallery slowly on weekends. I would like to thank all the people in the gallery. If you think the gallery has a high threshold, please feel free to welcome you.

Visit to Tokyo Art Antique Kyobashi and Nihonbashi Gallery

[Silver] May 3, 2012 08:30

Tokyo Art Antique was held from April 27th to April 29th. On the 29th (Sun), we started Kyobashi at 10:30 in the morning and enjoyed visiting the gallery to Nihonbashi. Well, let's have a good report.

I will enter between the police museum and LIXXIL. Suinami Gallery, 3-6-12 Kyobashi. You are dealing with works by Picasso, soft atmosphere Chagall, and Utriro. I liked the work of James Rizzi, born in Brooklyn,NY. Postcards are also available for souvenirs.

Orient Archeological Art Taiyo-san. Mainly in West Asia, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Central Asia, Gandara, and other items reminiscent of cultural exchange that traveled to and from Silk Road were exhibited. I was also interested in artifact and Greek silver coins from Afghan.

CIMG0359.jpg

The president of Hayashida Gallery talks about when he came to the Christmas Art Festa, and exhibits works on display at the store and exhibitions on the theme of animals across genres, entitled "KYOBASHI art safari". I was taught that In addition, Sokyu Urakami told me that he was a collector of Hokusai Manga.

I enjoyed a lot of paintings and works of art, but there are some people who shouldn't forget them on antique streets.

Hiroshige Utagawa, known for his works such as the 53rd Tokaido and the Hundred Views of Edo, lived there.

CIMG0363.jpg

I usually enjoyed shopping at department stores and wasn't interested in the shops around me, but for the first time I learned that there was a fine gallery. This is Mr. Tsubo Nakai. It's opposite Mr. Takashimaya, across Sakura-dori St. He seemed to be good at antique art, and fine pots and paintings were on display, but on the price tags of many works, there was a red circlezero indicating that it was already sold.

CIMG0364.jpg

In Nihonbashi, we visited the Ebiya Art Store, Shuzando Gallery, and Sankei-dong, famous for its large signboards of Ezo Ichikawa (sharaku), and saw their proud exhibits.

CIMG0368.jpg

After seeing, he said, "Thank you," and at every store, he answered carefully "Thank you." It was a Tokyo art antique where you could relax and feel blissful.

Click here for information on each store. http://www.tokyoartantiques.com/

Reference: The event was attended by 62 galleries, Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, and Maruzen Nihonbashi 3F galleries. We made a visit that matched the characteristics of each store listed on the ART MAP and their preferences. If you do not calculate how long it will take, it will take 65 stores X10 minutes = 650 minutes = 11 hours, travel time 1 hour, meal time 1 hour, etc. 13 hours. If possible, divide it into 2 days and enjoy it slowly. For your next reference. Also, eating at a famous restaurant on the way is one of the pleasures. Make a plan for where and what to eat. It will be a more enjoyable day.

There are many boats in Chuo-ku.

[kimitaku] May 2, 2012 15:20

Edo has many canals since ancient times, and it has been said to be a very beautiful city with white walls and greenery of gardens.

After the Taisho era, many canals were reclaimed, and now it is a little less than a city of water.

There may be some reason.

However, everyone folds the map of Chuo-ku from the upper right to the lower right and looks at the lower half, and there is still a canal.

You can see a lot. It also shows one side of the city of water.

Crossing the bridge over the canal, looking at the flow, and various ships are telling me.

Each ship has a long history and is still active, and a variety of ships.

Yes, it's.

Sky Tree 1.jpg from Kameshima Bridge

While crossing the bridge over the canal, staring at the ships, blowing in the breeze,

Why don't you try humming such as "O SOLEMIO"?

The photo on the right overlooked Shingameshima Bridge Reigishi Bridge northeast of Kameshima Bridge. By accident

The kai tree has entered the subject.

The photo below is Minami Takahashi. I took a picture of Kame Shimakawa from the fence of Tokufune Inari.

The right is the one aimed at Tsukiji Market from the entrance of Hamarikyu.

Sir. The location of the left buildings is the ruins of the warehouse in Owari-den.

Boats, houseboats, various things

Sir.

Many here have been since the Edo period.

                         The ship was blown away.

The lower right I saw from Tsukuda Kobashi on Tsukuda Island.

Below this surface is the pillar of the large banner used at the Sumiyoshi Festival in August this year.  It's filled.

Along with the festival on Tsukuda Island, Obori became a print by Hiroshige Ando, an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period, "Hundred Views of Edo".

The photo below shows the Tsukuda Sluice Gate from the Asashio Canal. This canal is goby fishing

It's a mecca.

In the lower left, I saw the Tsukishima River from Triton Square.

During the cherry blossom season in spring, a party for cherry blossom viewing is held.

On holidays, it's also fun to walk through the canal and see various ships.
