The site of the play town in Ningyocho

[North Yujin] October 11, 2012 09:00

If you walk a little north on the west sidewalk of the Ningyocho intersection, you will see the explanation board of "Sakaimachi / Fukiyacho Theater Ruins" in the planting.

Sibaimachi 009.JPG

 I will introduce the explanation.

Site of the play town of Sakaimachi and Fukiya-cho

 Location 3-2-7, Nihonbashi Ningyocho, Chuo-ku

It is said that Sakaimachi was raised by reclaiming the swamp during the Keicho era (1596-1615), and in 1656 (1656), Kami-Sakaimachi in the western half was divided as Fukiya-cho, and Shimo-Sakaimachi in the eastern half remained as Sakaimachi.

During the Edo period, playhouses and teahouses surrounding them were gathered around this area, and it was very lively. Among the playhouses, there were Nakamura-za and Ichimura-za (other than Morita-za near Ginza 6-chome), which performed Kabuki, among the government's plays called Edo Sanza, and there were also many playhouses in puppet ballad drama. Nakamura-za, the leader of Edo Sanza, was Kansaburo Saruwaka, who moved from Kyoto to Edo, founded Saruwakaza (later Nakamura-za) in Nakahashi Minamichi (currently around Kyobashi 1-chome) in 1624 (1624). This was the birthplace of Edo Kabuki, which is connected to the present. Moved to Negimachi (currently around Nihonbashi Horidomecho 1-chome) in 1632 and to Shimo-Sakaimachi in 1651 (1651), and named Nakamura, his last name, at the time of Kanzaburo, he was renamed Nakamuraza. did. During this time, in Sakaimachi, Toza was founded in Kami-Sakaimachi in 1633 and Murayama-za (later Ichimura-za) was established in 1634.

puppet ballad drama came down from Kyoto ahead of Kabuki. It seems that the performance began in 1617 (1617) in the same area of Nakahashi as Saruwakaza. After moving to Negimachi in 1632, it was moved to Shimo-Sakaimachi in 1651. There were many playhouses in puppet ballad drama, including Edo, Satsuma, Tamba, Temma, Tosa, Toraya and Hizen.

The playhouses in Sakaimachi and Fukiya-cho stand up Saruwaka 1-chome to 3-chome (currently around Asakusa 6-chome, Taito-ku) from 1842 (1842) to the following 14 years due to the reform of Tenpo. Until it was moved, it was here around 200 years ago.

In recent years, excavations have been conducted at Nihonbashi Ningyocho 3-chome, and relics related to teahouses and plays have also been excavated.

There is a map of Toto famous places, so I will introduce it.

Is Higashiborirugawa in the front and Nakamuraza in the back of the street?

Sibaimachi 011.JPG

I walked through the alley, but today, 170 years later, it has changed completely.

However, I would like to introduce two traces left.

On the other side of this explanation board, there is "Sanko Inari Shrine".

At the entrance of Ningyocho-dori side alleyway, you can see the explanation board of "Sanko Inari Shrine".

Sibaimachi 007.JPG

I'll introduce you.

The origin of Sanko Inari Shrine

 enshrined deity Sanko Inari Oga

      Tadokoro Inari Daimyojin

In 1924, the former Hase Kawamachi and the former Tadokoromachi merged in the land readjustment, and the current Horidomecho 2-chome

As it has become, Tadokoro Daimyojin is also enshrined at this shrine.

It is said that Osaka Kabuki actor Sanjuro Seki, who appeared in Nakamura-za, was invited by Fushimi.

This shrine, which is transmitted, has a record in "Edo Sokako" in Genroku 2 (1689).

It is presumed to be before that.

The forehead in the upper right of worship hall, “Nihonbashi Ward, guardian angel Sanko Inari Shrine” is Kanda-jinja Shrine.

      It is his writing.

 Edo period

Nearby are Yoshiwara and Kabuki huts Nakamura-za and Ichimura-za, as well as puppets and puppet ballad drama.

There is a hut, etc. in the background (Edo Rakugo) is "Sanko Shindo" and "Sanko Shrine".

      It was about to appear.

Since ancient times, there have been many visits by daughters, children, geisha, etc., and especially when you lose sight of cats, ask them.

It's said that there's a spiritual test. A stone monument named "Sanko Inari Shrine approach" and a cat figurine on the grounds

It was erected and dedicated to the cat's return safely.

From this wording, you can remember the state of the traditional play town.

  Next is "Inari Inari".

This was found on the wall of a shop that went out of Ningyocho 3-chome on the former play town side and entered Horidome 1-chome.

I'll introduce you.

The origin of the success of Inari

In the Edo period, the Inari site is Inari, 16, 17, and 18, Shin-Takigicho.

A long time ago, Ieyasu Tokugawa entered the castle around 1580 (1590), this area was a village called Shibahara-juku.

It is a place with a lot of cedar forests.

Since the expansion of Edo Castle, Edomachi Allotment area around 1604 (1604) From a place where there are many wood yards to Shin-Takigi-cho.

The name of the town was created. In 1617 (1617), it is located in Kariya Shiki, which was called the grandfather of the Hojo family Namijin Shoji Jinemon, and several others. After receiving enshrined deity from Fushimi Inari, Kyoto, the festival was held as a guardian angel.

Our company escaped the main deity disaster in 1657 (1657), Ansei (1854) major earthquake, 1873 (1873), and the Great Kanto Earthquake (1923) (1923) near the Showa Pacific War.

It was burned down in shrine hall during the Great Kanto Earthquake and was rebuilt in 1931 (1874) at Sugimori Shrine, 1-chome, Horidomecho, and there are many worshipersworship hall.

There are many shops, performing arts, individuals, etc. who have been successful from this area because Danjuro Ichikawa, the first generation of the Edo period, gave a name.

It seems that the first generation Danjuro Ichikawa and many others worshiped and succeeded in this Inari.

If you go a little further through this alley, you will see the flag and sign.

Founded in 1718 ★Brushes and brushes from Edoya

[Mapo ★] October 10, 2012 13:00

I went to the Chuo-ku Tourism Association's town walking tour guide.
This time, a long-established and medicine museum course!

Get off at Kodemmacho Station on the subway and go to the first Edoya.

A shop that has been around since 1718.
It seems that he was given the name of Edoya by the Shogun family.
The owner of the photo is the twelfth generation (@_@)

R0010234.JPG R0010235b.JPG

Clothes brush, toothbrush, makeup brush, etc.
In addition, they showed me a lot of brushes when making dolls.

R0010231.JPG R0010230.JPG

Those that use human hair, this is pig hair, this is horse hair ...
The squirrel hair of the teak brush was very soft (*^^*)

The hair used for brushes has never been shampooed or colored.
Moreover, it seems that it is not the hair of a woman. Women's hair is strong (laughs).

R0010225.JPG R0010227.JPG

Toothbrush is made of horse hair. It's 420 yen for each.
And the tapping for the display of personal computers
What an austrich feather ★735 yen

R0010259.JPG R0010258.JPG

It's really nice to have a lot of time and effort made by this craftsman!
However, it seems that there are really few craftsmen.
It is an era where a large amount of Chinese products are coming in.
It seems that the artisans don't grow up.
I thought this was not the case where I bought a 100-yen product.

A toothbrush is also good as a souvenir~♪

Betta City will be held on the 19.20th of this month, but
At that time, Edoya seems to be on sale.
It seems that there are a lot of great deals.

Next, go to the museum of Ozu Washi ...

Cosmos Garden 40 meters above ground

[Sam] October 10, 2012 08:30

R0019746LS.JPG R0019766RSG.JPG FANCL Ginza Square is open to the public as the first autumn garden project "Cosmos Garden", a salon space with a terrace on the 10th floor for five days from October 4th to 8th.

The "Autumn Garden" started last year because the 40m aerial garden "Rose Garden" held every May has gained popularity.

I hear that a total of 400 pots are laid out, but in addition to the so-called "cosmos" of various colors and shapes such as white, light peach, peach, and red color, yellow and orange "Kibana Cosmos", and "Chocolate Cosmos", which is reminiscent of chocolate, can also be enjoyed.

At the same time, hanging baskets with the theme of autumn are also displayed, and the "season" is produced.

Opening hours are from 11:30 to 18:30.

The second autumn garden project "Autumm Rose" is scheduled for 7 days from November 1st to 7th.

◆Chuo-ku There is a history here (46) Gokaido Past and Present (2)-Walking through Koshu Kaido from Nihonbashi-

[Akira Makibuchi / Sharakusai] October 4, 2012 21:53

Go along the five highways in Chuo-ku, the second one is Koshu Kaido. During the Edo period, it was on the way from Naito Shinjuku and Hachioji to Shimosuwa via Kofu. The current part of Chuo-ku overlaps National Route 1 and is only a short distance from Nihonbashi. So I would like to go a little further and walk to the junction of National Route 20, which inherits the old Koshu Kaido.

0913_46_121006koshuukaido.jpgDeparting from Nihonbashi, the starting point, walk south on Chuo-dori to Nihonbashi Intersection. So far it is the same as National Route 1, Tokaido, and the current National Route 15. When you turn west at the intersection toward Otemachi, National Route 1 is called Eitai-dori St. (upper left photo). Eventually, we will reach the Gofuku Bridge intersection. It is derived from the fact that there was Gofukumachi in the old days. On the north side, there was "Yumeji Takehisa / Minatoya Esoshi Paper Store" during the Meiji period.

The current Sotobori-dori St., which connects north and south, was built on the ruins of outer moat in Edo Castle, with the Gofuku Bridge on the west side. Take this Sotobori-dori St. toward Kanda to Ichiishibashi. It was the point where outer moat, Dosanbori and Nihonbashi River merged. It is depicted in the 100 views of Edo "Yatsumi no Hashi" and the famous spot event "Hachimibashi". At present, on the west side of Minamizume, there are "Ishiishibashi Lost Stone Marks" during the Ansei period (upper right in the photo) and "Ichiishibashi's main pillar" during the Taisho era, which is a cultural property of the inhabitants of the ward.

Move away from Chuo-ku at the point beyond the Gofuku Bridge intersection and enter Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku. On the back of the building on the south side is the ruins of magistrate's office Kitamachi (left photo). It can be seen that he ruled Edo City along with the ruins of Minamicho magistrate's office near JR Yurakucho Station. After walking for a while, you will hit the Otemachi intersection. Go straight to Ote-mon gate, and if you go south, National Route 1 will be Hibiya Street.

Walking south along the Uchibori, the Hiroshige Utagawa was born near the Meiji Seimeikan, an important cultural property of Baba Sanmon, near the "Jomon Fire Concentric House". This area was also called "Yatsushirosu Kishi" because of the Jan Jooss Tenyashiki, and in modern times it was Yaesumachi, Kojimachi-ku. Go ahead and you will see Hibiya intersection.

Turn right at the Hibiya Gomon site in Hibiya Park and head west. National Route 1 is Harumi-dori St. and you will reach the Sakuradamon intersection. If you turn left at the south, you will see Sakurada-dori St. on National Route 1 and 3 km from Nihonbashi. If you go straight, you can finally meet Koshu Kaido on National Route 20 (lower right photo). The road from Hanzomon to Shinjuku is now Shinjuku-dori St. ●Akira Makibuchi

From Tsukiji to Tokyo Station by Edo bus.

[Silver] 14:00 on October 4, 2012

The other day, I led a Brazilian acquaintance who was staying at a hotel in Tsukiji, one of whom went from Tokyo Station to Shin-Osaka Station, and the other two led a greedy group of seeing off and sightseeing. After shopping at Tsukiji Outer Market, I took an Edo bus from Chuo-ku government office and moved to Tokyo Station Yaesu North Exit. There is no hard workcoldsweats02 such as pulling in the underpass with a cart, and there is no inconvenience to others (Edo bus, thank you!)

DSC00008.jpg

After helping to buy the ticket and sending it off to the platform, I went to the Money Museum again in Nihonbashi shuttle bus to see Japanese currency. After that, take the Edo bus in front of Cored Muromachi, move to Suitengu, and pray for safe delivery. (Oops, she was singlecoldsweats01.) At the intersection of Suitengu, I purchased "luxury rice cracker", and how about the promenade while cheeking, and the procession of Yanagiya? When I looked into it, unlike usual, only about 10 customers were waiting. It was the first time for two Brazilians to eat sea bream containing anko, and it was interesting to take pictures of how to bake sea bream.

DSC00013.jpg

From a lot of explanations, I thought it would be good to have them experience "Show money" and "Show the place where the sea bream is baked", so I'll report it.

On the way back, of course, we returned to Chuo-ku government office by Edo bus and enjoyed the pedestrian paradise of Ginza. Brazilians walk in Ginza happily. I wonder if this is also called silver bra.cafe
