Sumida River Ohashi at night

[Mumin] 08:30 on November 30, 2012

We strolled around Sumida River Ohashi in late November when the footsteps of the night became clear.

It was not hot nor cold, and it was a pleasant night.

When you walk along the bridge from Chuo-ku, you will see the illuminations of Eitai Bridge and Rivacciti 21 on the right side and the high-rise buildings. You can also see the fireworks of fireworks festival in Tokyo Bay in summer from here. Kiyosu Bridge on the left side of the bridge, and Skytree shows a granular face between it. This light competition is also wonderful.

I am fascinated by the illuminated Christmas version of the Royal Park Hotel on the way from Sumida River Ohashi toward Suitengu!

I got home with a soft and dreamy feeling.

◆Chuo-ku has a history here (47) Gokaido Past and Present (3) - Walking through Nakasendo from Nihonbashi

[Akira Makibuchi / Sai Sharaku] 13:30 on November 29, 2012

The third is Nakasendo. During the Edo period, it was on the way north of Nihonbashi via Itabashi-juku and inland. The current part of Chuo-ku overlaps with National Route 6 to the Muromachi 3-chome intersection, but when you go north, it is National Route 17 and it is to Imagawa Bridge.

0913_47_121127nakasenndo.jpgThe road from the starting point of the road in Nihonbashi to the north is about 45 degrees left than the road to the south. The area where Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower was built was Honmachi, where town development began during the Edo period, and was the Oiwake point of the former Nikko-Oshu Kaido. If you go straight at the current Muromachi 3-chome intersection, the old Nakasendo Road is now National Route 17. Turn right to the east at Edo-dori St., and it becomes National Routes 4 and 6.

On the east side of National Route 17, a narrow road on the north side of Edo-dori St., there is an explanation board (upper left in the photo) of "Kokumachi The Bell of Time Bell Tower Ruins". There was The Bell of Time since the early Edo period. Right next to it is also an explanation board for "Nakahantei-Buson Yosa Residence Ruins". Buson was a disciple of the Edo-za Shofu school, following the flow of Basho, Sokaku, and Hajin Hayano.

After heading north on National Route 17, Imagawa Bridge is located. This is the border between Chuo-ku and Chiyoda-ku, and the Ryukan River once flowed. Imagawa Bridge during the Edo period is known for the opening part of the picture scroll "Kidai Shoran", and there are many Setomonoya near the bridge. At present, stone monuments (upper right in the photo) and explanation boards (lower left in the photo) of the bridge ruins are built, so you can feel the remnants.

The area beyond the guard of JR Kanda Station is 1 km from Nihonbashi (lower right in the photo). The road from Hongo to Itabashi via Mansei Bridge is former Nakasendo, National Route 17. ●Akira Makibuchi

Photo Exhibitions Talked by Nature

[Tom downtown] 09:00 on November 28, 2012

How are you going to spend the transition from autumn to winter?maple

My favorite Ginza town seems to be sitting quietly ahead of the year-end sale, and it seems to be prepared for the arrival of winter, so it is still an attractive town.

At [Ginza Nikon Salon] in Ginza 7-chome, we actively hold solo exhibitions of unique photographers.
The art of photography seems to be a comprehensive art that combines the expressive power of painting with the realism of Haiku.camera

Now, at this salon, "Yoshiharu Higa Photo Exhibition" is being held until December 4th.
Higa is from Okinawa and moved to the United States at a young age, and is now a wonderful photographer living in New York.
I was introduced by a first-year tourist correspondent, a cat on the slope, and visited immediately.

[Ginza Nikon Salon] is located in the side of [Ginza Matsuzakaya], and is a spot where people who love photos and cameras go to. Higa's photo exhibition this time is titled "Chiraga-Okinawa's bare skin", and there are many works that mainly capture the natural shape of Okinawa from a unique perspective. It seems that love and respect for nature are overflowing in casual landscapes such as rocks, cliffs, and plants. Do you say, "Speakless but eloquent"?upwardright

By the way, "chiraga" is a "face skin" in the Ryukyu dialect, and it is said that it mainly refers to the skin of the pig's face. It may be the author's desire to convey the life of Okinawa.

The salon is free of charge, so please drop in when you go out to Ginza.

I think you can feel the conversation with nature that interacts through the finder.impact

Soup curry

[Mido] November 28, 2012 08:15

This time, I would like to recommend La Bettrappeltti (Bar L)
It's "no soup curry."
Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, this Italian restaurant located on the 1st floor of the basement
It's a name that seems to bite your tongue, but for office workers and OLs
It's a popular shop.
The word "Makanai" written on the blackboard is attractive, and I don't think
I was led into the store.

Curry with chicken roast and tomato curry and vegetable grease
There are two types of sun soup curry, white rice is 800 yen and 16 grain rice.
It's 900 yen. (Photo: 16 grain rice)

I'm making curry in the counter, and it's just "makanai"
I feel like an appetite.
In about 10 minutes after ordering, the dishes on the tray were brought.
The curry soup has no taste and has a smooth taste.
All the vegetables seemed to melt in their mouths.
Curry and vegetables are just in harmony.

I didn't like smoking ok at lunchtime, but
I was satisfied with the "soup curry" itself.

Autumn leaves came down to the city

[Koedo Itabashi] 13:30 on November 27, 2012

Every time it rains, the temperature changes were felt on my skin, and I began to wear more one by one.

The maple front is also moving from north to south, from mountains to satoyama and towns.

Autumn leaves hunting and yellow leaves hunting.

This year, we took off the opportunity to walk slowly in the mountains, and if you notice, there is only a few left in November.

Where are the most trees concentrated in Chuo-ku?

After all, it's Hamarikyu.

That's why I decided to spend a moment of Koharu weather at Hamarikyu Onshi Garden.

In the park, pine and other green trees grew plumply, and the branches were stretched out brilliantly against the background of a cloudless blue sky.

The autumn leaves are...

The fallen leaves of broadleaf tree, laid down on the path, showed the impact of rain and wind yesterday.

I wonder if it's over.

But the color of Japanese maple is coming, and there are still trees that turn yellow.

The leaves exposed to the sun are glittering and seem to be waiting for their turn to shine.

The rich variety of trees is also a charm of Hamarikyu.

On the other hand, we wanted to welcome winter, but it was done steadily.

"Komomaki" winds a strip of straw around the trunk of a pine.

It is used to exterminate pests that are not good at cold by rushing to straw.

It's just like a tree is spinning, it's warm.

"Yukitsuri" stretches a rope radially from the tip of the pillar raised so that the branches of the tree do not break.

The triangular cone made by the pin of the rope and the shape of the rope seems to indicate the preparation for winter.

The contrast with the Japanese garden makes you feel fun, reflecting the Christmas tree over the season.

On that day, we saw many customers from overseas.

As I approached the angle while thinking that I was taking a commemorative photo with the autumn leaves in the background, I was impressed with Ho.

I was photographing Shiodome's unique skyscrapers and Tokyo Tower with a lump of green trees at the bottom.

Heading to Tokyo Bay, Rainbow Bridge and Odaiba were also targets for shooting.

This place offers a panoramic view of Tokyo's tourist attractions.

It is around "Hino Kuchiyama" located in the eastern part of the park.

Street trees in Tokyo, trees in small parks, hedges and plantings in houses are also time to move to maple trees.

Nishiki came down to the city.

It is a color that makes you feel refreshed during the noble season.
