The Tsukiji Spring Festival is held from April 27 to May 3.

[Akoba Peony] 14:00 on April 24, 2013

"Spring Festival" of Tsukiji Outer Market has become an annual event.
This year, due to the 750th anniversary of the Shinran Saint of Honganji, this is an expanded version of the Golden Week from April 27 to May 3.

First of all, for the three days from April 27 to 29, "750 square" appears in the precincts of Honganji!

Local gourmets are gathered in products from Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima and Tokyo prefectures.
Local characters will also be gathered.

The "750 Fair" will be held from April 27 to May 2 at the out-of-the-box market.
Special items are packed, and luxurious products are won by lottery for each receipt of 1,000 yen.

I was waiting for May 3! It was "half price city."

The specialty of each store is a half price, which is not sold out.
This half price city is expected to be very crowded.

We will teach you the tricks unique to the local area.
①The half price market starts at 10:00, so before that, get a list of half price items of each store and a flyer of map.

②Check the flyer and prioritize the items you want to buy.
→Most of the items are limited, so they line up from stores that are likely to disappear soon.
The egg-grilled "Matsuro" is very popular, so if you do other shopping, it may be sold out.

③I'm in a hurry. → Because narrow roads are crowded, it may be faster to go to the other side of Harumi-dori St. or Shin-ohashi-dori St.

④If you take a break, go to Tsukiji River Park or Higashiginza → There are few places in the market where you can sit and calm down, so if the weather is fine, go to Tsukiji River Park in Hongan Teraura.
It is a calm place where the bustle of the market is like a lie, there is a lot of greenery and you can hear the sound of birds.
Also, if you walk for 5-6 minutes, you will find the most talked-about spot in Higashiginza, Higashiginza, where the Kabukiza Theater is now located, and there are many cafes and restaurants around you that can slowly settle down.

The stamp rally commemorating the 50th anniversary of Higashi-Ginza Station is also being held.

I'll have to go to Tsukiji for Golden Week!
