"The birthplace of the movement to brighten society" Ginza

[Silver] 09:00 on October 1, 2013

I think everyone is well aware that there is a statue sculpture "Tondai" of Seibo Kitamura in the Sukiyabashi intersection at Ginza 4-chome, Sukiyabashi police box and Ginza Five planting.
This pedestal is engraved with "continuous preparation for an unexpected earthquake."

By the way, did you know that there is a stone monument of "Ginza, the birthplace of the movement to brighten society" nearby?

The stone monument is engraved like this.
The campaign to brighten society was triggered by the Ginza shopping street as the "Ginza Fair" with the aim of creating a bright city free of crime and delinquency in the post-war era of social confusion.
In 1951, the Ministry of Justice (currently the Ministry of Justice) advocated this movement, and now it has become established as one of the largest national movements in Japan.
This time, in commemoration of the 50th and 30th anniversary of the founding of the Chuo-ku Conservation Chairman and the Welfare Protection Women's Association, we conveyed the significance and philosophy of this movement to new generations and prayed for the realization of a peaceful and bright society, A monument was built in Ginza, the birthplace of the Movement to Brighten.

Here, I discovered the charm of Ginza, which has continued to develop with history.
And when I wrote so far and confirmed that there was no past post, what?

Azusa Shibakawa, a sightseeing ambassador for 2012, had reported on his activities in 2012, so I would like to introduce it and pray for a bright future and good health for everyone. .
