Seguro-kamome (the mouth of the Kamejima River)

 The Kamejima River splits from the Nihonbashi River, changes to the southeast around Kameshima Bridge via the Nihonbashi Suimon, and joins the Sumida River via the Kamejima River Suimon.

Five bridges span the flow of about 1 km, Reigishi Bridge, Shin-Kameshima Bridge, Kameshima Bridge, Takahashi and Minami Takahashi.

There is a "seguro turtle" on the riverbank near Takahashi-Minami Takahashi.

Plover-eye seagull's winter bird, large seagull.

Seagulls are affordable and easy to see, and when they are not flying, they are still resting and mending.

In addition, the seagulls are often mixed with different species, and a group of "lily gulls" beside them.

Young bird's wings are brown.

It is said that it will take about four years to become a adult bird feather.

✎Although it is difficult to distinguish seagull species, it is relatively easy to identify three species of seagull that are common in the mouth of the Sumida River.

 <Seguro gull> Larger than crows. His legs are light red. The beak is yellow and red spots at the tip of the beak.

 <black-tailed gull>    (Crow size) medium size. The legs are yellow. The beak is yellow and the tip is red and black spots.

 Squirrel>   Smaller than crows. The legs are red. The beak is red and the tip is black.
