Hakone Ekiden is a popular running event along with the Tokyo Marathon, which is related to Chuo-ku.
On the return trip on January 3, cross Nihonbashi through Chuo-dori in the 10th ward of the anchor section, turn left in front of Mitsukoshi, and then finish at Jobanbashi and Otemachi. The section of Chuo-ku is short, but it is bustling to celebrate the triumphal return of the team that wins with the last flowery presence.
I had been waiting for about an hour and a half before the passage just before Nihonbashi, so I was able to support you in the front row.
Toyo University, the first place, passed. The joy of winning was conveyed, and I passed with momentum.
I look forward to this traditional Ekiden every year, but not only TV but also live performances are good. The weather was good, so I was able to send the beginning of the year with a refreshing feeling.
