From across the river

[whatever] May 23, 2014 14:00

I am currently a central inhabitant of the city living close to the Sumida River. I said, many of the central inhabitants live near the river, but it's best to take a camera on a sunny day and just walk Brabra. However, if you walk regularly, you will get used to the scenery. Today, I crossed the bridge to see Chuo-ku from across the river.

Started from Kiyosu Bridge. Standing at Kiyosu Bridge on the Chuo-ku side, there is a bridge in the back left. It's called Mannenbashi. First of all, I decided to look at it from there. I will write just in case, but when you cross Kiyosu Bridge, the other side is Kiyosumi Koto-ku. At the end of the crossing is the Kiyosumi Garden, a park in Tokyo. Also, in Koto-ku, we sometimes see factory direct sales shops such as Western confectionery. Crossing Kiyosu Bridge, there was also a factory direct sales shop for Western confectionery and bread, and there was a sweet scent around it.

Shortly after arriving at Mannenbashi. From here, Kiyosu Bridge and Chuo-ku. It's a building I knew, but Is it the only one who gets a little excited when looking from across the river? It looks more beautiful than ever!

By the way, go out to the Sumida River Terrace from Mannenbashi and proceed to Shinohashi ...

***

bridge2.jpgOn the other side, you can see Tornale, a high-rise apartment in Nihonbashihamacho.

It is still high

In Koto-ku, there was a poet Matsuo Basho from the Edo period, so you can take a walk while writing Okawabata Basho Kusen.

***

After all, Tornale is also noticeable here. There is a heliport on the roof.

Below the Metropolitan Expressway, there is the Tokyo Fire Department Nihonbashi Fire Station Hamacho Branch Office, where two fire boats are deployed along the river.

From the terrace, I went up to Shin-ohashi Bridge, which was called "Hitosuke Bridge".

On the central pillar, there is a relief depicting the old Shin-ohashi Bridge etc.

At the right end of the photo is Meijiza.

***

bridge5.JPGAlso from the top of Shinohashi.

Under the highway, you can see the Wanwan Square.

It's hard to understand, but if you look at this, dog run is quite long.

***

bridge6.JPGWe went further and arrived at Ryogoku Bridge.

The illuminated yellow building in the center beyond is Nihonbashi Junior High School.

The fence in the foreground is a motif of people watching the fireworks. It's right for the place.

***

bridge7.JPGGo to Shinohashi again.

The lit up Kiyosu Bridge also looks faint.

Personally, the illuminated Shin-ohashi Bridge shines on the surface of the river, so I like it enough to take pictures many times.

bridge8.jpgIt's beautiful, Shinohashi.

In the center of the photo, you can see Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower.

Chuo-ku was a friendly city even when viewed across the river.

[5/25 The predecessor of Bettara City is revived! ] Nihonbashi Hisashi City

[Dye] May 23, 2014 09:00

On Sunday, May 25 this weekend, "Nihonbashi Kushi City" will be held on Ebisu Street in Nihonbashiodenmacho.

"Kusa City" is the predecessor of "Bettara City", which has been in Nihonbashiodenmacho since the early Edo period, and this time it is the first block market to block the street of Otemmacho.

On the day, there are 40 stores such as long-established stores and modern cafes founded in the Edo period, but I think it's a chance to check them all at once because there are only shops I care about.

http://kusareichi.com/?p=41

By the way, I taught this event at Yoga Studio Lotus Eight, which I usually take care of in postpartum yoga.

This is also a booth, and it seems that there are also hand massages, lectures on how to relieve stiff shoulders, and discounts on yoga-related books.

http://www.lotus8.co.jp/blog/staffblog/

I tend to be fluttered on my shoulders when I usually hold my child, but I recommend this yoga because I am healed both physically and mentally.

What I personally care about is the egg-yaki of the long-established "Uoju", the brush of the well-established "Edoya", the lunch box of "Cafe Beni", the mousse of the chicken white lever of "Le Fullshet", the "Nihonbashi Daddy Association" and the "Kendama Tournament"...I can't write it.

I am also interested in the art atmosphere, such as events of works using textile street products and booths for photographers.Art

I think the people of the Edo period were very busy in the city and surely enjoyed it.

Over time, I'm excited to see various discoveries in Heisei no Kunishi City.

Choledo Muromachi is also exciting, but why not go to Otemmacho this weekend?

Rabbit cream puff ★Nicolashal

[Mapo ★] May 22, 2014 14:00

Nishi-Gobangai Street in Ginza is on the street.

It has become a hot topic under the name Ginza Chocolat Street.

One of them.

Rabbit cream puff of Nichola Shar from Lyon.

I watched it once on TV and it was very cute, so I went there (* ^^ *)

KIMG0129d.jpg KIMG0126.JPG

It seems that Nikolaos's shop is the first shop in Ginza.★

He's a very friendly person.

In front of the store, both on weekdays and on Saturday, in front of the store.

I was talking to people walking along the street with a basket for tasting chocolate.

The cream puff from the show window is baked for a sample.

It seems that there is no cream inside.

KIMG0128.JPG KIMG0122b.jpg

I was planning to buy some cream puff and go home.

It's a great deal, so I decided to eat it at the cafe on the second floor.

Cute~ (*^^*)

There is no single cream puff in the cafe.

This rabbit cream puff plate (with drink) is 1870 yen.

There is a parfait with rabbit cream puff.

KIMG0123b.jpg KIMG0124b.jpg

By the way, you can buy only cream puff for takeout.

About 500 yen to 560 yen per piece.

I think it's cute and talked about making a souvenir (* ^^ *)

If there was a "Library Grand Prize".

[Koedo Itabashi] May 22, 2014 09:00

"How many books will the librarian get or read in a year at the library?"

Looking at the librarian who arranged the returned books neatly on the bookshelf, I suddenly thought about that.

In recent years when Internet information is flooded, keys are hit, but there is no time to read books, and "separation of print" has also caused a recession.

"The Book I Want to Sell the Best Books Selected by Bookstore Staff"

When this catch phrase jumped into my eyes, I was inadvertently leaned forward with "Oh".

The "Bookstore Grand Prize" is chosen by the vote of bookstore clerks.

Because I'm a bookstore clerk dealing with new books, I can make seasonal choices that keep down on sales trends.

Then, what will happen if the librarian chooses?

There will be entries from various genres, not limited to new publications.

The artist who has made a long track record may be exposed to the eyes of the sun again.

Votes may be gathered in picture books and picture books.

An unexpected, solid book may be chosen.

There are three municipal libraries in Chuo-ku.

・Kyobashi Library (1-1-1 Tsukiji)

・Nihonbashi Library (1-1-17, Nihonbashi Ningyocho)

・Tsukishima Library (4-1-1 Tsukishima)

All three buildings are characterized by the fact that they are located in the complex.

The Kyobashi Library is located on the first and second floors of the Chuo-ku government office.

The Nihonbashi Library is located on the 5th and 6th floors of Nihonbashi Elementary School.

The Tsukishima Library is located on the 3rd floor of the Tsukishima Kumin Center.

I use a library card when looking for local materials.

It is an era where you can easily search on the Internet, but the feeling of turning the page while feeling the weight of a book that conveys the smell of the library somehow seems to be a strict ritual, and the back line extends smoothly without heart.

I sometimes stop by while walking around the city.

It is also quite interesting to relive the scenes in the city you have just seen with prints such as town guides.

I'm lucky if there is a seat available.

There are various types of libraries in Chuo-ku, like the chair gallery space.

The variety of this chair is also one of my favorites.

In the library, there is a notice saying "Smartphones and mobile phones are prohibited" other than the designated places, but an uncle sitting in a chair behind the bookshelf in the back is a picoiko with his fingers.

When I was staring at it, I felt like I was gaze, and gently put it in my pocket.

The Nihonbashi Library is exhibiting on various themes.

When I stopped by the other day, I introduced related books such as "Ichioshi's Children's Writers, Chumoku's Picture Book Writers". .

"Come! "BuRaRi Nihonbashi" is issued approximately every three months.

When you collect back issues, you can meet interesting space with the thoughts of the staff every issue.

Recently, I heard that the Vibrio Battle has become a secret boom, competing for "Introducing the books you want to read and which book you want to read the most".

It is also called "Intellectual Book Review Battle".

I'm very happy to be able to come across a book that I would like to recommend to others.

In fact, there were times when I thought the librarian's work was also attractive.

However, the dust of the old book caused an allergic reaction and met the tight eyes that stopped coughing, and gave up the way.

The librarian should be a person who is strong in books, not even in old books dust.

Library Librarian Grand Prize chosen by a reading professional.

If the book won the grand prize, I would definitely like to get it.

A great success with a view of Ginza from Shimbashi

[Taro Edo] May 21, 2014 14:00

The other day, when I was walking around Ginza, I found myself on the wall of the construction site where the Matsuzakaya Ginza store was located.

I took a picture because the state of Ginza in the past was introduced.

This is the state of Ginza seen from Shimbashi in Meiji 38 (1905).

The railway runs, and the state of the bustling city is depicted.

"ruddy turnstone (ruddy turnstone)" at Ishikawajima Park

[Sam] May 21, 2014 09:00

            <Natsubah> <I'm Natsuha>

k-4RSG.jpg The water terrace at the bottom of Ishikawajima Park is full of jogging, walking, and dog walks.

During this season, at low tide, if you look closely at the rocky shores of the water, you can see ruddy turnstone (ruddy turnstone) moving around and foraging.

The origin of the Japanese name is that the summer feathers with a flashy reddish brown and black (like a triple cat) pattern on the back and wings are regarded as Kyoto's kimono.

♂In summer feathers, the white and black vertical spots at the top of the head are clear, and the reddish brown part on the upper surface of the body is vivid and has strong redness.

♀In summer feathers, the upper part of the head is mixed with grayish-brown, and the reddish-brown part on the upper surface of the body is smaller than mm and has weak redness.

(By the way, winter feathers are black-brown on the head and the upper surface of the body, have a reddish color, and have a plain color.)

It breeds in the Tundra area in northern Eurasia and northern America in summer, and is said to winter over the coasts of South Asia, Africa, Central and South America and Oceania in winter. In Japan, as a traveling bird, it flies as a relay point mainly in spring, mainly in May, and autumn mainly in September, and is observed in tidal flats, coasts, paddy fields, etc.

The total length is about 22cm.

A sloppy body shape.

Black and short beak.

Orange legs.

The squeal is "Geregret."

When flying, the white part of the wings, waist and tail stands out.

In addition to surface foraging, it seems to catch small animals lurking underneath by turning or shifting pebbles, earth lumps, shells, and seaweed lumps with beaks.

The English name (Ruddy) Turnstone is associated with foraging habits.

If you have the opportunity to go to the waterside of tidal flats and reefs during this season, be careful and look for it.

You may be able to meet an unusual, small "Kyojo"!
