The Tokyo Art Antique Art Antique Festival is very fun.

[kimitaku] 18:00 on May 3, 2014

From April 24 (Thu) to 26 (Sat)

"Tokyo Art Antique Nihonbashi Kyobashi Art Antique Festival" was held.

DSC_0041-1.jpgDSC_0039-1.jpgHigashi-dori Street in Nihonbashi and Kyobashi is home to art shops and antique shops, and it is always crowded with many customers.

With 150 stores, it is a densely populated area with unique art pouring into Ginza.

Usually, artworks and antique shops with high thresholds were easy to enter on this day, and it was crowded with many customers.

In the shop, you can actually appreciate the scrolls made by Kourin Ogata, the praise of Sotatsu Tawaraya, the wood carving of Denchu Hirakushi, etc. in front of you, and you are overwhelmed by the sense of reality.

In addition, each owner will carefully explain each product,

I was able to enjoy a different sense of presence from the museum.

The jujujutsu of dyeing and makie in the photo is a piece by Kasugai, an antique art in front of Tokyo Square Garden.

The owner is a friendly person. I learned a lot for a long time by asking you to feel free to ask me.

When you carry "2014 Pasport", the conversation with the owner is smooth. I have a very fun conversation.

The rightmost barrel is used for yudofu in a tub of "Taru Gen" in Kyoto. A round tub is a bargain that is hard to see.

Scenery of Tokyo Tower - Kachidoki-

[Sumida Fireworks] 14:00 on May 3, 2014

The lowest and southernmost point of the Sumida River Terrace is Kachidoki, but from this Kachidoki terrace, you can see Tokyo Tower.
You can see Tokyo Skytree from various places, but there are surprisingly few places where you can see Tokyo Tower, so is it valuable? ? It's a place.

s_hanabi2-1.jpgIt is also introduced in the smartphone app "Tokyo Chuo-ku Town Walking Map".

s_hanabi2-2.jpgI can see it thanks to the vast space of Hamarikyu Onshi Garden, but I like the view from here because Roppongi Hills can be seen beside the tower and Tsukiji Market is in front of me. In particular, the night view is too luxurious.

s_hanabi2-3.jpgWe are building a new bridge here, and the construction of the bridge from both sides was completed before Golden Week. It seems that the middle part will finally be installed at the end of Golden Week.

s_hanabi2-4.jpgAt the end of this installation work, the scenery of Tokyo Tower, which had been seen until now, changes, and the scenery of the bridge will be added to create a new landscape. At the same time, I feel a little lonely that the scenery of the past disappears. Conversely, this Golden Week will be the last chance to see the scenery without a bridge.
If you are coming near this Golden Week, why not visit Kachidoki and see the scenery of Tokyo Tower and the bridge?

Japanese sweets of the Sannoya season

[Tachibana] 09:00 on May 3, 2014

May is full of wind. The 5th is Children's Day, but Children's Day is Kashiwa-mochi, a Japanese confectionery shop that values the sense of the season "Sannoya" I would like to introduce you.

sny1.jpg

The place is Ningyocho A4 exit, walk on Kinza Street toward the Hisamatsucho intersection, turn left on the road in front of Hisamatsu Police, and the second house (just behind the monument on Ogawa Bridge, Hisamatsu Children's Park ).

Since Minosha opened in 1947, it has a history of 67 years this year, and now the second owner is making sweets. In addition, my son is also helping, so he seems to be able to enjoy the taste of sweets at Kyosannosha in the future.

All sweets are handmade, and the main ingredients are domestic products, and the fresh confectionery takes care of the sense of the season, so it seems that it will be changed to sweets according to the season in about one month.

Now, what is lined up in the shop is raw sweets made of soybeans and Ayame.

Sora beans are so good that they can be mistaken for the real thing. The taste is also delicious.

This season, until around May 10, there are koshian and miso Kashiwa mochi.

After Kashiwa mochi, it seems to follow Mizuyokan, Mizumanju, and Kuzuzakura.

And in June, hydrangea and water ginger fresh sweets will appear.

Ohagi is also very delicious, but at our shop that values the sense of the season, it is sold twice a year around the equinoctial week in spring and autumn.

In addition, there are also shops such as yokan kneaded by hand and tsubushian dorayaki (characteristic that the skin color is light compared to those of other stores).

In addition, you can also purchase red rice, wheat and joyo buns (for ceremonial occasions), and birth mochi.

Birth mochi is a mochi with the word "Kotobuki" written in red to be carried by a child who has become one year old.

There is a coffee room in the shop, so you can take a break.

The store is very airy, so even in summer (from June 1), it has a reputation for having shaved ice delicious without air conditioning.

Please enjoy the seasonal taste of Sannosha.

Ginza success guardian of children and travelers

[mill] 15:00 on May 2, 2014

Nice to meet you, my name is Mill.

I am very pleased to have been added to the Chuo-ku Tourism Association correspondent from April this year and have been able to write a correspondent blog.

I've been living in Chuo-ku for three years, but I would like to introduce my favorite spots.

Thank you very much.

Photos _1~1.JPGGinza Terrace spreads out on the 9th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi.

In one corner, there is a place where Ginza Izumi Jizo-son is enshrined.

Sankei Shrine is a shrine enshrined on the roof of the main branch of Mitsukoshi as a guardian deity of Mitsukoshi.

This is also known for being spiritual.

Ginza Izumi Jizo-son is enshrined in the central hall.

According to the information board of the Chuo-ku Board of Education, "Postal Hochi" in 1876 said, "In Bunkyugen (1861), when repairing an old storehouse at the 6th place of Hajime Hori, 30 houses, Zentaro Tanaka, dug out from the ground ", but there are various theories about the origin, and there are many unclear points.

At first, Ginza Iseyo Jizo-son was enshrined at 4-3 Ginza (now 7).

During the Meiji, Taisho and early Showa eras, the bustle of fair was difficult, and it seems that it was one of the most popular customs in Ginza at the time.

Jizo-son, who has been revered by many people, has been reduced in stalls due to the effects of the reconstruction plan after the Great Kanto Earthquake, and during the war, it was damaged by incendiary bombs, and Dou was burned down.

After the war, it was worshiped carefully by local volunteers, and it seems that a Dou has been set up on the roof of Mitsukoshi since 1965.

unnamed[1]. jpgThis is a photo of Reitaisai festival in April this year.

It is dark and not visible, but behind the statue of Jizo in front of you, there is main deity of guardian of children and travelers.

It is a statue that has been thinly contoured, but I feel the warmth that has been protected by many people.

Recently, it has been introduced on TV as a power spot, and many people visit it.

On the Ginza Terrace, where the lawn spreads, small children are playing happily.

I think that Jizo will surely be pleased in a place with greenery and liveliness.

Until 3:00 p.m., there is a person in charge, and you can take care of the incense stick, candles, etc.

Photo 6.JPG

The large stone sculpture of guardian of children and travelers in the back of the photo was installed in 1976.

It is said that it was carved by the voice of a believer who wanted to worship the Jizo who appeared because it could not be seen in the hall.

This is a popular statue of guardian of children and travelers.

Because it is a wood carving, it has a different expression and it is very adorable.

How about visiting guardian of children and travelers in Ginza?

KIKIZAKE BAR <GINZA Matsuya>

[Sam] 09:00 on May 2, 2014

      R0028732LLS.JPG   R0028726LLS.JPG

Following the grand renewal of the upper floor in September last year, Matsuya Ginza has recently undergone a large-scale renovation of the food sales floor on the first basement floor and the second basement floor for the first time in 24 years, and reopened on April 25.

At the same time, the Japanese-Western Tavern also carried out a major remodeling.

R0028729RS.JPGAmong them, the sake sales floor is narrowed down to the so-called "junmai sake series" (junmai daiginjo, Junmai Ginjo, Special Jun United States, Junmai), and has about 450 items of sake brewery's specialty sake, making it the largest assortment of sake in the Ginza area.

The sample display that shines on the backlight lined up all over the wall is spectacular.

There is also a new "KIKIZAKE BAR" corner where you can taste for paid tastings, saying, "I want you to drink and feel it, take into account the creator's thoughts, and experience the sake culture."

At the beginning of the opening, three kinds of sake from different breweries and a knob set are offered on a daily basis, and thereafter they are scheduled to be replaced every week.

In the future, we will propose meals that match sake and display and sell sake ware.

“KIKIZAKE BAR” is open from 17:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 16:00 to 20:00 on weekends and holidays.
