The Oedo Festival Bon Dance Festival is held every year at Hamacho Park on the fourth Saturday of August and the previous Friday.
For the first time this year, I participated with the members of the town council.
.
The venue, Hamacho Park, is a great person
I heard that the scale was large, but a lot of people were coming.
The circle of dance spreads on gorgeous songs such as Chuo-ku's original "This is Edo Bon Dance", "Tokyo Ondo", "Dancing Hero", and "Bayside Bogi".
Each town council was danced in order on the tower, and I also danced with my town council members.
I was nervous, but it was fun.
Thank you very much for all of you
In this Oedo Festival Bon Dance Festival, not only Bon Dance but also various events are held.
Starting with woodworking and opening parades by children's portable shrine, the Chuo-ku Taiko Federation welcome drums, as well as traditional Chuo-ku performing arts such as Daitofuri and ladder rides from the Edo Fire Memorial Association, and Bon Odori on Tsukuda Island.
I would like to see such events next time.
In addition to traditional fair stalls, fair also had specialty cities in the ward, such as Toshinoichi and Setonoichi, antenna shops in Hokkaido and Tokushima, and a friendship and exchange city in Chuo-ku.
So I found a booth in Okayama Prefecture where I came from.
Everyone from Tamano City, where the high school I was attending, was there.
I was very happy to know for the first time that it was an exchange city with Chuo-ku.
There were local specialties of Okayama such as grapes, peaches, and Bizen ware.
There was also a very cute Ambassador Tamano Smile Marine Ambassador, who added flowers to the venue.
The scenery lined with specialty products from various places felt the uniqueness of Chuo-ku, which has long prospered as a commercial center of Japan.
I thought that the bustle of the festival had not changed either in the past or now.
I'm looking forward to it again next year.
