In late October, the new shrine hall of Fukutoku Shrine (also known as Mebuki Shrine), which has a history of more than 1,100 years as a guardian of Nihonbashi Muromachi, was completed.
This Fukutoku Shrine is a venerable shrine that is said to have been worshiped by warlords such as Yoshiie Minamotono and Michio Ota in the old days, and Ieyasu Tokugawa and Hidetada also visited to visit. In the Edo period, it was also crowded with lottery officially recognized by the Shogunate. It is said that the origin of Mebuki Shrine in another issue is due to the emergence of young shoots in the torii gate made up of Nukugi trees.
Despite being a shrine with such a history, he has been relocated many times, and the reform of Tenpo seemed to be in danger of dismantling.
This time, the rebuilt Inari Shrine with the front back of east Asian hip-and-gable roof and the staggered gable has a beautiful brand-new copper-plated roof, and cypress wood is used for the parts that can be seen from the front.
The neighborhood of "COREDO Muromachi" and "YUITO" buildings is likely to become a new spot in Nihonbashi.
