From February 4 to March 2, a PR event for the history and culture of Kyoto, "Kyo Aruki in Tokyo 2015-Kyoto Weeks in Love" is being held in various places in Tokyo.
This is the fifth event this year, which covers history, landscape, traditional industries, and tourism, including an exhibition inspired by the 400th anniversary of the launch of Rinpa, a course to deepen "knowledge" by a university in Kyoto, and an event where you can experience traditional food and culture. 114 projects are planned.

In order to reconsider the splendor of Kyoto's traditional industries and contribute to the promotion of understanding of Japanese culture by spreading the custom of toasting with sake (sake), Kyoto City implemented the first "Cheers Ordinance" in 2013 (Ordinance on Promoting the Spread of Kyoto City Sake).
The KYO-MONO is COOL! Project supports the purpose of this ordinance and aims to excite the traditional industry of Kyoto with young people. The Kyoto Traditional Industry Youth Association and the Kyoto Ceramic Youth Association became the secretariat, and the Fushimi Sake Brewery Association and the Kyoto Sake Brewery Association were established last year.
