Early spring flowers of the family Fabaceae <Harumi Triton>

[Sam] March 12, 2015 09:00

R0032227LS.JPGR0032221RRSG.JPG  In the planting of Harumi Triton Square's "Green Terrace" and "Flower Terrace", the season when the vegetation gradually sprouts and everyone begins to work, is now a season when you can gradually feel with your skin.

The annual "Mini Garden Guide Tour" takes a walk around the park with the guidance of a green advisor at the hotel pocket plaza "Flowers, Water and Trees".

This month, on the 5th of this month, from the "Plants Walk Lecture" held on the theme of "Early Spring Flowers", in early spring, I picked up the flowers of the family Iaceae that bloom in competition with me.

It is considered to be one of the most primitive groups of angiosperm, and many of them have flowers with high ornamental value and contain alkaloidsmedicinal herb.

Currently, in the slope garden along the Asashio Canal, in addition to the colorful Anemone Porto family, the Asteraceae "Osteosperumam Kirara" (the color of yellow is attractive to the center of the flower) is planted, It is blooming comfortably under the soft sunlight.

Take a stroll along the garden path finished with rubber chip pavement during "tree sprouting", and enjoy the "one by one" of this season (meaning that you can see a different wonderful scenery every time you walk). Let's go.

 ☆Lananculus (upper right)

Native to South Europe to West Asia.

It is popular in double-flowered, a horticultural species with thin petals like paper.

There are various flower shapes and flower colors.

  Also known as Hanakinpoge.

 ☆Anemone Porto

  Native to the Mediterranean coast.

Abundance of flower patterns such as "cover ring" and "haloshi bloom", and flower shapes such as "double-flowered", "chrysanthemum bloom" and "choko bloom".

The flower color is also varied.

What looks like a petal is calyx.

 ☆So-called "Christmas rose"

"Christmas rose" is originally called "Nigel" in the Herebolas genus that blooms around Christmas.

It is said to be the name given to the seeds, but in Japan the name of the whole Helebolas genus is common.

In other words, the former is "Christmas rose" in the narrow sense, and the latter is "Christmas rose" in the broad sense.

In Japan, horticultural varieties based on "orientalis", which blooms in spring since early spring, have become widespread.

Some people may feel a little uncomfortable with the name "Christmas rose".

"Christmas rose" is popular for its neat appearance that blooms overhead during the still cold winter season.

I hear that there is also a nickname for "Winter nobleman".

What looks like a petal is calyx.

From the left, Helebolas Orientalis / Archifolius / Lividas.
