[Showa-dori tankenroku] #04: You can find treasure! "The Nordic Craftsman" (Ginza 1-chome)

[Odye] 14:00 on April 8, 2015

This time, I would like to introduce a Scandinavian craft shop "Nordic Takumi" located just one road from Showa-dori.

At the traffic light of "Shinkyobashi" on Showa-dori, enter Chuo-dori and turn left at the first corner.

The shop has been in this area of Ginza for 19 years! It is said that it is done.

It is a homey atmosphere that is run by your family, but all the items handled are gem

It seems that they go to North Europe to buy directly, and even in domestic products, they have handmade items from craftsmen who think "this is!"

From affordable items to items that seem to be a lifetime, all of them are things that you want to cherish.

I thought that the threshold would be high, but I also enjoyed Mogami's hospitality ('▽ `*)

There are many attractive items in the store...

I'm happy just looking at it, but the shop was really kind and taught me a lot of North Europe culture in relation to the goods, so I had a good time.

Left: A towel with a Chinese zodiac pattern. It's cute with a Nordic taste◎

Right: A mug of birch. Does the local people look like aurora? It's romantic~

Those who receive this will be happy. If you give each other as a couple, you will both be happy...

Left: Amulet at the corner of the reindeer. Finland is the only one among the four Nordic countries that is polytheistic like Japan, and it seems that there are various gods.

Right: The corner of the reindeer. ・I don’t think it’s for sale.

By the way, did you know that reindeer horns grow hair in winter?

I touched the real thing, let's take a closer look at Santa's reindeer corner.

・・I've seen a lot of things, but here's what I thought was the best personally.↓↓

Swedish Royal Order Ekelund Baby Blanket

Organic cotton is safe and I'm glad to be able to wash it in the washing machine.

The pattern part is colored cotton, and the pattern that looks white now seems to be darker when water passes through.

Green cotton on the left and tea cotton on the right. No chemicals are used at all.

It seems that the son of the shop still loves this blanket even after 13 years. Good things can be used for a long time.

The other day, my dear friend gave birth, and I wanted to give a special birthday celebration, so I decided on this.◎

However, it is now difficult to procure cotton for raw materials, and this blanket seems to be limited in stock.

In addition to the shop, there is a gallery on the 3rd floor, and a Danish embroidery classroom (four times a month) and a porcelin painting classroom (twice a month) on the 4th floor, so this is also good.

Touch the Nordic culture and meet gems. Shop like a treasure box

I recommend it.
