This season when the petals of Yoshino cherry tree began to fall and become cherry blossoms is exactly the season of fresh green.
The Kyoto Pavilion, just in front of the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station, is now introducing recommended sweets that allow you to taste fresh greenery with your eyes and tongue as "Recommended sweets in April."
Of these, I purchased "Ocha-mochi" from Shichijo Kanshudo and "Kyo Warabimochi" from Kyo Meicha Chayudo.
Gion Tsujiri's "Matcha Castella" has been bought before, so this time it's patience and patience.
"Kyo Warabimochi" was made with stone milled Uji matcha added to the warabi mochi, and the scent of tea was refreshing.
Founded in 1865, Shichijo Kanshu-do creates seasonal sweets with Japanese sweets, but this "Ocha-mochi" is a face-to-face of the royal road called Koshi bean paste, fertilizer and matcha kinako, and it should not be delicious.
At the Kyoto Pavilion, there was also a glossy poster of "Tsudori", where you can enjoy the season with your eyes and ears. The period is from April 1 to April 30. The place is Gion Kobe Kabu Dance Center in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto.
