Visit the Ota Memorial Museum

[Wind in all directions] May 23, 2015 14:00

 R0015366.jpg

The exhibition period has been low (until May 28), but at the Ota Memorial Museum, a museum specializing in Ukiyo-e.

The exhibition "Hiroshige and Kiyochika" is currently being held.

(The Ota Memorial Museum is located in Shibuya Ward, but it was an exhibition related to Chuo-ku, so I will introduce it.)

Hiroshige and Kiyochika were born in samurai in the Edo and Meiji eras, and Kiyochika was influenced by Hiroshige.

I'll keep it.

In his later years, Hiroshige's paintings, who lived in Kyobashi, can be seen everywhere when walking around the city of Chuo-ku.

"Nihonbashi" of 'Tokaido Gojusanji'--everyone has seen a picture of Feudal lord's procession and fish shops on the riverbank that depart early in the morning

I think there is something.

When I was a child, it was commonly known as Hiroshige Ando, but the real name and the issue are strange, and now Hiroshige Utagawa (1797).

It is called ~ 1858). Kiyochika Kobayashi (1847-1915), the Kiyochika (Kiyochika), was called 'Hiroshige of the Meiji era'.

Yes. He was born in the head office and his tomb are also in Taito Ward, and there is nothing special to mention with Chuo-ku. However, he returned to Hiroshige

For this reason, we have left many scenery of Chuo-ku.

It was a great success even on weekdays, but I was able to enjoy Japan's proud ukiyo-e.

Needless to say, I took a walk along the Sumida River the next day. In particular, wooden structures before turning into steel frames at the end of the Meiji era.

I imagined Shin-ohashi Bridge.

You can take a walk while comparing the Chuo-ku depicted in Ukiyo-e with the current Chuo-ku.

If you are interested, please go out.

Let's try the authentic Naples Pittsia-Higashiginza "Ipporit"

1. May 23, 2015 09:00

When you gather at Tsukiji, "Let's have lunch today?" is one of the pleasures of women. One of the former "Ginza Tondenhei" (self-proclaimed when I was opening a lunch shop at a Ginza office) is in charge of finding a delicious shop, and always finds new places where to find it. I'm looking for This is one of them.

100_1770.JPG

Cucina Napoletana Ippolito has just opened near Mihara Bridge in February this year. There is a pizza kiln at the entrance. There are 4 types of lunch menus, today is course A, "3 kinds of assortment appetizers", "Today's pasta OR pizza", and "coffee" 1400 yenya.

I was wondering whether to make pasta or pizza, but looking at the kiln at the entrance, it would be "pizza". You can choose from margerita base, marinara base, and Bianca base, and there are 5 types each. After struggling, I finally asked for a total of three types, one type each.

Surprisingly, it is nearly 20cm in diameter and is a volume that just protrudes from the plate.

100_1768.JPG100_1769.JPG

Although it was desperate, it was a result of leaving one piece of each, but the Italian staff who came wrapped it for take-out as usual. The next shop is also Italian, and next to it is a standing drinking Japanese restaurant, and the staff of Ipporito said, "We opened together in February. Everyone is good friends, and I look forward to this shop next time." Somehow I felt very good.

Which store would you like to explore next time? I enjoyed it again. (Do you want to gain weight?)

"Nyan Cocoa" [Miyakoshiya Coffee]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 22, 2015 18:00

At the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, in conjunction with the “Mitsuaki Iwago World Cat Walking Photo Exhibition” (May 20-June 1), the entire building is being “Nonely Cats”.

miyakos1.JPG

At "Miyakoshiya Coffee" on the 4th floor of the new building, such a menu is available.

miyakos4.JPG

It is "Nyan Cocoa" of marshmallow cat cocoa.

I also ordered the souffle cheesecake together.

miyakos3.JPG

This cocoa is a collaboration menu with marshmallow specialty store in Nagano (Yawahada).

Limited quantity

Cocoa is rich. It is perfect for relaxing while enjoying slowly.

The cheesecake was moist and fluffy and very delicious.

Miyakoshiya Coffee is a coffee specialty store headquartered in Sapporo, Hokkaido that roasts and wholesales coffee beans. In Tokyo, there are several stores here in Nihonbashi, Ginza, Shimbashi, Ebisu, etc.

miyakos7.jpg

This shop at the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store is located just in the corner facing the Nihonbashi Kitazume Intersection of the new building, where you can enjoy delicious coffee (this time, delicious "Nyan Cocoa") while looking down at Nihonbashi from the window side of the shop.

Tsukiji's Sarnokoshikake

[Taro Kachidoki] May 22, 2015 16:00

ck1307_20150519.jpg

This photo shows 'Sarnokoshikake' that lives in Tsukiji.

I found something that grew on a tree planted on the exterior of Tsukiji Market in Chuo-ku, and I don't know the original tree name or the correct name of "Sarnokoshikake".

Near the fruit and vegetable gates, quietly, but dignified

The diameter of the longer one is more than 20 centimeters in size.

If you look closely, you can see that the stripes like annual rings spread in a circle, and it is presumed that they grew after a reasonable date and time.

Near the fruit and vegetable gates, there are few turrets coming and going, such as the main gate and market Hashikado, and there are no many tourists coming and going like Umiyuki Hashikado, so you can feel the herbivory atmosphere as the name suggests .

Tsukiji Market is particularly famous for its handling of marine products such as tuna and crabs, but the Fruits and Vegetables Department also handles vegetables, fruits, pickles and bird eggs.

A walking course that visits Honganji from Tsukiji Subway Station, passes through Monzeki Street (Shin-ohashi-dori St.), and leads to the Hamarikyu Onshi Garden is also recommended during this season.

In that case, please find this trick.

Maybe a small cat is sitting down.

Tsukiji, where the number of French people has increased "Breakfast is trebian at Tsukiji! "

[Silver] May 22, 2015 10:00

It's a refreshing morning! This morning, at Tokyo Metro Tsukiji Station, I saw a foreign couple who seemed confused while looking at the map of the guide, so I called out.
I had just 40 minutes to get started, so I decided to guide myself to my destination Tsukiji Market.
After all, I heard that I was a Frenchman and a two-week vacation to Japan. For 3 nights in Kyoto, I saw Miyajima in Aki and Himeji Castle, and today was the last day.
I decided to get a map at the general information center "Platto Tsukiji" while introducing tuna and seafood bowl shops in the out-of-market market, stewed foxes, ramen Inoue, and Jindaiji soba.
P1001126.JPG
When I received an English version of the map at "Platto Tsukiji", today's duty took a picture of all three people. I was deeply moved by the very kind response.

Passing in front of Namiki Shrine, I taught you access to Tsukiji Market and guided them to their other purpose of "sushi" shop. Today, I took you to "Iwasa Toshishi".
P1001127.JPG

I can't enter the market until 9 o'clock, so I think you could enjoy delicious sushi.

If you have enough time in the early morning, enjoy breakfast at Tsukiji and sushi at Tsukiji.

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 21, 2015 20:00

From May 20th, a photo exhibition "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walking" has been held at the 7th floor gallery of the main building and new building of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store in 1-chome Nihonbashi Muromachi.

This exhibition focuses on about 200 photographs () of cats that Mitsuaki Iwago, famous as an animal photographer, met in 15 regions around the world, including Western Europe, Africa, the United States, and Asia. However, it seems that it is based on NHK BS Premium's popular program "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walking"

The video is also open to the public, and the subject approaches Mr. Iwai who is shooting, and at the end, it is too cute, such as the appearance of riding on the head, is attractive works that even if you do not like cats It is just

On the other hand, in the bright gallery on the first floor of the Noevia Ginza headquarters building facing Ginza 7-chome, Namiki-dori St., "Mitsuaki Iwago Photo Exhibition Nippon Dog" is being held by the same photographer until June 26 (Fri).

This exhibition is a copy of six Japanese dogs, Shiba Inu, Kishu Inu, Kai Inu, Shikoku Inu, Hokkaido Inu, Akita Inu, the life and dynamism of Japanese dogs are expressed brilliantly with the beautiful scenery of the four seasons of Japan.

This is also an attractive photo that you can watch, even if you don't like dogs.

This is a chance to see the contrasting subjects of cats and dogs, world scenery and Japan's four seasons at the same time in Nihonbashi and Ginza as a photo exhibition taken by the same photographer.
