During the GW, I was walking around the Nihonbashi area and on the first floor of the Mitsukoshi Main Building.
A mikoshi of Nihonbashi Muromachi 1-chome town association was enshrined.
From May 8th to 10th, Muromachi 1-chome Festival (Kanda Myojin Festival) will be held.
On the 10th (Sun), you will enter the shrine to Kanda Myojin.
The Kanda Myojin Festival (Kanda festival) is known as the Tenka Festival, and is performed every other year with the Sanno Festival (Akasaka Hie-jinja Shrine).
The origin of the "Tenka Matsuri" is that during the Edo period, a festival procession was kneaded into Edo Castle, and there was a preview of the general, Odaisho.
Along with the Sanno Festival and Fukagawa Festival, one of the three major festivals in Edo, along with the Gion Festival in Kyoto and the Tenjin Festival in Osaka, a major festival that is one of the three major festivals in Japan is nearing.
By the way, the weather was fine on the day, and carp streamers were swimming on the roof of Mitsukoshi.
