At the Kabukiza Gallery, located on the 5th floor of Kabukiza Tower in Ginza 4-chome, "Touching, Seeing, Touching, Trying" is currently being held.
This exhibition is hands-on, and you can enjoy the props and musical instruments actually used in Kabuki by picking up, moving, and making sound.
Photography is free (strobes are not allowed) and there are many shooting spots.
Riding on a palanquin of "Suzugamori" or a horse of "Mimori Monogatari", learning at Terakoya in "Terakoya", becoming a "Shiranami Five Men" or "Fujimusume", and you can see it on the flower path You.
You can also try out Kabuki's "rain sound" and "wave sound" by yourself.
You can also see the gorgeous Uchikake of Oiran and Date Hyogo (wig) up close.
Videos related to each prop were also played in several places, which was helpful.
Opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:30 (final admission is 17:00).
I think it's a project that adults who know Kabuki to some extent can get more excited and enjoy than for children.
Why don't you stop by the 5th floor of Kabukiza Tower once?
