Eel weight set [Tosanmatsu]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] July 2, 2015 09:00

"Doyo Ox Day" has become a habit of eating eel (eel).

This summer's "Echiyo Ox Day" is held twice on July 24 and August 5.

Therefore, I would like to introduce the eel shop "Tosanmatsu (Tomimatsu) Higashiginza store" in Ginza 3-chome.

It is a affiliated store of "Noboritei Ginza Store" located in Ginza 4-chome.

This eel is from Kagoshima and is plump and soft. I think that a limited number of lunch service set meal (eel weight set) (1,250 yen) is very reasonable (pictured below).

There are several theories about why the habit of eating eels was made on the summer "Doyo Ox Day", including "invention by Gennai Hiraga", but personally, as a countermeasure against summer batter, I feel the wisdom of the lives of the common people of Edo. Anyway, it's delicious.

"Tosanmatsu Higashiginza store" is open from 11:00 to 21:00. Sunday and public holidays are closed.
