Soseki Natsume resurrected, went to Takiyama-cho! ?

[Yotaro] 18:00 on September 30, 2015

IMG_1190.JPG Soseki Natsume (1867-1916) appeared at the site of the rebuilding of the Ginza Asahi Building in Ginza 6-chome. A portrait of Soseki and illustrations of the novels "Sanshiro" and "Might Dark" (Natori Harusen painting) are drawn on both sides of the temporary enclosure of the site, on both sides of the Namiki-dori St. and Sony Street.

This is the place where the former Takiyama-cho, Tokyo Asahi Shimbun, where Soseki joined the company (currently Ginza 6-6-7). Near the Namiki-dori St. Road, there is a song monument of Takuboku Ishikawa (1886-1912), the company's proofreader. People who usually look at this and pass by IMG_1192.JPGseem to be caught by the opposite Soseki now.

Soseki resigned from teaching positions at Teikyo Univ. Ichiko in 1907 and joined the Tokyo Asahi Shimbun Company. From the difference in social evaluation at that time, it was a turning point that surprised the world, but boldly stated, "If the newspaper shop is a business, the university shop is also a business," "I don't feel alive unless I write something." I will go on the path of literary creation. Starting with "Gubijingusa", "Sanshiro", "Kokoro" ... and "Ming Dark", which has not been completed, will be sent to the world as a serialized novel in the Asahi Shimbun. In addition, he presided over the literary column and promoted emerging writers and gave a place to present them. There was no obligation to go to work, but when I came to the editorial meeting on Wednesday, the number of words was small, but it seemed that it was a lively meeting by spitting unexpected words with a spooky face and making everyone laugh.

IMG_1199.JPG I, Yotaro, wrote on this blog twice about the relationship between Soseki and Chuo-ku, but at that time, there is nothing to remember him in this important place that is most closely related to Soseki in the city. I was sorry that there was nothing. Two years later, if the construction is completed, this enclosure will be gone. We hope that a new permanent monument will be built at that time. Next year 2016 will be 100 years after Soseki's death, and next year 2017 will be 150 years of birth, a major milestone is approaching.

'Isogashi fish in Takiyama-cho, Kyobashi's newspaper light.'

Soseki's serialization of "And" and "Mon" overlaps when Takuboku was at work. I think Takuboku was also in charge of proofreading.

15th night (at Sumida River Terrace)

[TAKK...] 16:00 on September 30, 2015

The fifteenth night of 2015 was September 27 (Sun).

It's also called the mid-autumn moon and the potato moon.

In fact, the fifteenth night is September 27, but the full moon is September 28.

Fifteen nights are not always a full moon.

A part of the new water shrine has appeared.

[pont] 16:00 on September 30, 2015

A part of the new Suitengu Shrine under construction has appeared.

F1000015.JPG

The building that seems to be main hall and worship hall has been covered and a brand new appearance can be seen from the outside.

You can do it. I photographed it at night.

Suitengu was the lord of the Arima family in Kurume, Kyushu during the Edo period.

It was recommended in Edo-yashiki, and the location is different from the current location.
It is not a land god in the Ningyocho and Kakigaracho areas.

However, many worshipers come from various places to pray for safe delivery since the Edo period.
It hasn't changed yet.

The construction is still ongoing, and the transition from the current temporary palace (Hamacho) will be ahead.
We look forward to the day when we can visit again as a popular spot in Ningyocho.

The ability of a city where songs fall.

[Koedo Itabashi] 14:00 on September 30, 2015

What is this sense of unity?

Everyone who listens is shaking in their own rhythm.

Screams fly and clapping is born.

I enjoy the sound.

"Kanazawa Jazz Street 2015" was held during Silver Week.

In recent years, there are many music events such as jazz in the city.

A different atmosphere in these cities.

I felt that I was eaten by the intensity of the density.

Oh, this is Kanazawa.

18 stages in the city, more than 100 bands.

From combo consisting of several people to big bands and orchestras,

From elementary and junior high school clubs to professional stages,

What’s different is the diversity of the venue?

Indoor, street corner square stage, large stage of open park,

When you see Omicho Market, Kanazawa Higashibetsuin, and Oyama-jinja Shrine precincts turned into venues,

There was a laugh about going so far.

The stained glass engulfed in the gate of Oyama-jinja Shrine received the remnants of summer.

When you start to shine, your heart is solid in your life to match your jazz swing.

I felt relaxed a little by little.

A town where it was said that Kaga Hosho-ryu songs would fall from the sky.

The accumulation of history that has built up a rich culture.

The eyes are washed by the sways of the trees on the approach to Hakusanhime-jinja Shrine.

Seeing people enjoying the space inside and outside of the "21st Century Museum of Art" that blends into the city,

Sound of Jazz Street.

I felt a pleasant jealousy in the city of Kanazawa.

There is an antenna shop in Ishikawa Prefecture in Chuo Ward.

For 10 days from October 3 to 12, the 1st anniversary fair of the shop opening will be held.

Held, demonstration sales, locally brewed sake tasting party, traditional craft experience event, daily

The sweets of Kaga and Noto are also shown.

2-2-18, Ginza, Chuo-ku

Just Exit 4 of Ginza 1-chome Station on the Metro Yurakucho Line.

On each floor from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor, there are many works that relax and rejuvenate.

The children's call "E7 Hokryxinkansen" brought Kanazawa closer.

Mid-Autumn Moon <Billside of Sumida River>

[Sam] 11:00 on September 30, 2015

DSC01465RSG.jpg This year, September 27 marks the 15th of August in old calendar, and "Mid-Autumn Moon" (15 nights).

In this season, the moon rises in the clear night sky at an angle suitable for looking up, and it is said to be the best season for moon viewing, but typhoons often strike and fronts stagnate near the Japanese Islands. It does not always seem to be blessed with good weather in a wide area.

Fortunately, this time, I sometimes hide in the clouds, but I was able to love the beautiful moon enough.

"Fifteen nights" means "the night of the 15th day when the day of the new moon is the first day", but in fact, since the cycle of the moon is not exactly one month, subtle shifts occur depending on the year, "Mid-Autumn Moon" is not necessarily a full moon, and in the case of this year, the next day is a full moon.

It is a bright and bright moon that looks almost round.

This year, the next day, 28th, is the "Supermoon" day, when the moon orbiting around the earth in an elliptical orbit approaches the earth, becomes the full moon at the time closest to the earth in the year.

You can enjoy a special month for two consecutive days.

By the way, the supermoon on the 28th looks about 14% larger in diameter than the smallest full moon this year (March 6), and I hear that the brightness is about 30% higher.

It is said that the Heian nobles and others enjoyed the moon reflected in cups and ponds, rather than looking directly at the moon.

Sumida River Terrace in Shinkawa Park. On the surface of the river, the light of the bridge is illuminated, the lights of the riverbank building, the lights of the water bus, etc. are reflected, adding color to the atmosphere.

In memory of his deceased friend...@Grill Switzerland

[Kenken] 09:00 on September 30, 2015

It'll be a shit post.

Today, September 26th, is the birthday of my best friend for more than 30 years, who died 14 years ago in New York, USA.

On this day, among my friends since high school, I decided to eat and mourn the cutlet curry that he liked. Nowadays, there are various places where everyone works and lives, so each eats cutlet curry in various ways in the place they want.

After a long time, I visited Grill Switzerland (3-5-16 Ginza) and decided to remember my deceased friend by having the famous "katsu curry".

From here, change your mood and report brightly.

There is a shop located on the Yurakucho side of Ginza 3-chome, Chuo-dori, one street.

Roof with white and red lines (?) It's a small shop with a landmark. (I forgot to take a picture of the exterior....)

I decided to sit at the counter seat facing the wall because I was alone in the store, which was vacant even after 12 o'clock.

As is the case at the last visit, the standard "Chiba-san's cutlet curry", which was born from the word "Please put a tonkatsu on curry" of Chiba-san, a giant in front of Mr. Nagashima, or "W cutlet curry", which has a discount at lunchtime, I'm sure you'll be at a loss.

So, as in the previous time, I ordered a W cutlet curry and a bottle of beer. (I remember that last time I regretted that it was better to ask for a small bottle instead of a medium bottle (laughs).)

In the small shop, the voice of the order of the female clerk resonates.

This looks potage-like soup comes after a bottle of beer and a glass.

150926 Soup at Grill Swiss 2.jpg

This is not a potage, but a soup that dilutes the thickness of the white sauce of cream stew and tastes. It's quite delicious. However, since it is quite hot, you need to be careful when you have it (laughs).

While having hot soup and a little more beer, the main W cutlet curry appears!

One piece is completely hidden in the sauce, but two pieces of well-ripped cutlets (this is "W") are riding.

Because it is fried well, the cutlet is kept crispy even if curry sauce is applied. It's good!

Curry sauce is a sauce with little vegetables and meat, which you can see that it has boiled over time. It is a sauce that is not too spicy and not too sweet, as if it makes the cutlet stand on board, but it is firmly asserting its existence. I have a beautiful taste.

Even while you do this, customers can come in constantly. Most men and women were alone.

Despite the middle of Ginza, it feels like a relaxing time is flowing. Immerse in the aftermath of cutlet curry which has been flattened quickly.

As mentioned above, the time spent in the shop is less than 30 minutes. We enjoyed the very delicious cutlet curry and the atmosphere of the restaurant with a taste, and after giving a cup to a deceased friend, we left the store.

For a while, it would be nice to try to attack with a gourmet report (laughs). Thank you for your feast.
