Speaking of "Ariga Photo Studio", many people will miss the time when it was said that "the matchmaking photo is Ariga". At the end of the hot summer, Ariga Photo Studio received a notice along with this exhibition about "Ginza Studio Closed" due to aging of the building. "Eh!" At milestone events such as family enrollment, graduation, coming-of-age ceremony, annual celebration, etc., I was a little shocked to see "Ariga" taking pictures. I was looking into the exhibition right away. It's been a long time since I visited the store, but when I step into it, I feel relieved to have a calm atmosphere that is the same as before. The exhibition is on the walls of stairs leading to the first and second floors, and on the second floor. In addition to photographs of celebrities who feel the postwar history of Japan such as "Kishichiro Okura", "Mrs. MacArthur and Lady", "Seiji Kaya", "Haruo Sato", "Eisaku Sato", etc. There are also photos of a gentle family, such as children in uniforms, and this makes you feel like you are having a happy separation. It's sad that there will be no studio with that classic and heavy atmosphere, but new shoots will be taken in hotel studios in Nihonbashi (Royal Park) and Shinjuku (Keio Plaza). The exhibition will be held until December, so please take a look at the buildings with the atmosphere of the Taisho era and Showa eras and the photos that make you feel the times.
