"Kazumi Miyakawa Ki Aya Painting Exhibition-Ukiyo-e and Landscapes Colored with Trees-" is being held at the gallery "Gallery Yaesu Tokyo" in the Yaesu Underground Shopping Center.
This is a painting drawn using a technique called inlaying that inserts a thin tree with a thickness of about 0.6 mm ().
It seems that it will take a few months to complete a single work. It's an accumulation of detailed work.
All the trees fitted are spontaneous and are not colored or otherwise processed.
The color and grain (pattern) of each tree are used beautifully.
In particular, the wood grain (pattern) is used in the kimono pattern, fold, and three-dimensional effect, and this cannot be conveyed very much in the photo, so please actually come to the gallery and see it.
The event period is from Monday, September 28 to October 4 (Sun).
Thank you very much for your understanding regarding the photography at the gallery.
Thank you very much.
