The "Tsuguji Fujita Exhibition" has been held since November 9th (Monday) at Galerie Tamenaga on Ginza 7-chome, Kojunsha Street.
Galerie Tamenaga opened in Ginza in 1969 and is a gallery dealing with famous Western painting masters.
This time, more than 40 pieces of Fujita's oil paintings and drawings are on display.
Tsuguji Fujita's work is very impressive with delicate drawing lines and milky white color of women's skin.
It is often said that Japanese painting's technique was incorporated into oil paintings, but the beauty of the fine line drawing is really wonderful.
Also, from November 14 (Saturday), a movie "FOUJITA" (Fujita), depicting Tsuguji Fujita's half-life, has been released nationwide road show.
Director Kohei Oguri and the role of Fujita are Mr. Odagirijo.
The "Tsuguji Fujita Exhibition" will be held until Sunday, December 13.
